I have EXTREMELY curly hair and it takes me an hour to straighten it so I only wash my hair every other day. I noticed my hair is always more greasy on the second day so thanks for showing me this because it really helps! (I take a shower with a shower cap when I don't wash my hair, so no one tell me I'm not clean!)
aw you're so adorable. :) thanks for the info on DIY dry shampoo. i use special effects hair dye and i love it, but it doesn't last very long if i wash it every day. (which i HAVE to because my hair gets SUPER oily) This method will probably save me $100 a year because i won't have to keep buying hair dye every time it fades. (Don't worry, i'll still shower lol)
I'm a guy and always wondered how to make dry shampoo if i'm in a rush lol Becasue If I dont wash my hair it get quite oily so this tips great Thanks ! ;) x
just so everyone knows..dry shampoo IS NOT a substitute for showering.. it's great when you need nice hair in a hurry but you can't use it and never shower again thumbs up so people can see
OMG thank for this tip! I have tried 2 drugstore dry shampoos and they didn't work for me. My hair gets oily within 24 hours- I HATE IT! I am going to try this :)
baking soda is super bad for hair and if you apply it to your scalp its gonna make your hair grow slower because it disrupts the ph balance of the hair and since its alkaline its going to open up the hair cuticle making it less shiny. please do your research before making videos
Sorry. I accidentally flaged this as inapropriate. My bad. I was trying to comment. But thanks for the tip I've been wondering wat I could use cuz dry shampoos are like 17$ a bottle
@volleyballgirl130 I've never used baby powder before but I know a lot of people that use it for dry shampoo. Just be careful because I've heard it is hard to blend in.
@NicoleDeveraux Dry shampoo tends to build up and lose body after a few hours in my hair. The effects of this method last longer on my scalp so I don't have to reapply. It is also just a good thing for people to know if they run out of dry shampoo and don't have time to repurchase before going out.
I actually can't stand not washing my hair for a day so I don't know if dry shampoo will even work for me. But maybe I'll try it out if I'm just bumming around at home or something!
@rebeccakelsey it worked SO much better this time. Maybe because my hair was black then and it's strawberry blonde now.lol. Doing it in layers helps a lot too. Thanks :D
I did this once but it didn't work and made my hair look like I had dandruff (lawl, think I spelled that wrong... oh well.) But I'm going to try it the way you do and hopfully it will work. lol, fingers crossed.
@Lauuura2442 My hair has a lot of natural waves but in this video I had curled my hair the night before so it is kind of a combo of my natural waves and the Conair You-Curl. I'm going to do an everyday hair routine soon where I do curl a little bit. Keep an eye out! =)
@valerie12354 I really don't do anything special. I have a really old Revlon straightener (That I really need to replace!) and I just work in three layers like I do here. I don't straighten very often because my hair gets wavy by the end of the day anyway so it feels like a waste of time for me. Once I get a new straightener I'll consider doing a video but right now I don't have a good method.
by the way your so pretty for the baking powder cant you just put a bit on your skulp and rub threw or just hands i have really oily hair well thanks for the tip
@lilstar2020 You could but I think it is more effective if you work in layers. Make sure your hands are clean so you don't add any extra oil to your scalp. The hair spray is just an extra help but it isn't entirely necessary.
