  • Damn its nice dude!

  • bumpy road? LOL =D Go here, watch the czech roads... =D =D

  • Great job, I wish I had the talent to make one. You should put a radio in it, that be kinda cool.

  • amazing job

  • Your speedometer climbs almost as fast as your tachometer. What a fun toy that must be to drive.

  • lol he stole the chevy IMPALA SS COMPUTER!!!!!!

  • What motor do you have in it?

  • @awesomegokart He has the gm 5.3 V8... same motor found in the 05 -08 Grand Prix GXP

  • how fast can the car go?

  • your finished car looks awesome great job with your project. it probably needs a roll cage but i guess if you are going to be safe on the road than you dont need one.

  • How much to build the frame...any blueprints of the frame??? I love it

Thinking of building something that style but smaller for a gsxr600 engine.

  • excellent work!! can you tell me how much did u invest in the project??

  • Nice man

  • Sweet!

  • Love the car, but I wouldn't have two windscreens. The passenger one only pushes air onto the driver.

  • YOU CAN'T CALL SOMEONE A POSER BECAUSE THEY OWN AN AUTO. FOR GODSAKE, HE BUILD THE GOD DAMN THING FROM SCRATCH! THAT IS MORE THAN ANYONE CAN SAY ON THIS COMMENT SECTION!

  • NIce job, where did you get the chassis from?

  • @jarrus464 he built it.

  • automatic is just fine when u have power!!! COOL BUILD SiR!!! do a one piece shield

  • i think u would of enjoyed it lil bet more if u had manual gear box.but done excellent job to the car

  • hey could we get a video for once from u with actual engine noise

  • first class mate, a fantastic skilled build, all round top marks

    the bex (wales)

  • I would just sit and look at the front suspension working If I had a car like this. Dangerous ;)

  • You did a great job. cant wait to have something like this of my own. your inspiring. keep up the good work.

  • can you imagine this with 600 hp,its 1000 pounds less then the ZR1,I would say,10.40 at 135mph in the 1/4 mile

  • nice engine sound!!

  • very nice! i also really like that you used anautomatic gearbox. is the gearbox homemade too?

  • i dont care what anyone says. thats fuckin amazing. i've always wanted to build my own car. thats awesome

  • props to you on the car. i love how us ohioans have pride in what we build. keep it up and i drive a standard every day and sometimes its nice to have an automatic in a cruising car...im guessing thats basically what you are gonna use it for. good job man

  • @suzukikidz400 yeah i know what you mean !!!

  • First thing I would change is add a full roll cage...cuz...well....you just never know. Secondly, add a full windshield....and make the exhaust a little louder. Otherwise its a damn nice car

  • oh please oh please get this car out on a track, im dying to see what it can do on a track

  • do you need to mouthly payment or anything?

  • nice job vette i like all the video"s u had

  • I love the car dude Its awsome that you actually built it :D and Im not sure but it seemed like you slowed down a bit when there were other cars on the road? if you did thats awsome your not 1 of those douches that risk other ppl in their mischief :P but ya awsome car dude

  • sticks are for fags (:

  • i am interested in doing something similar to your project. how do you go about making it road legal such as licensing it?

  • @vette139

GREAT build man. I am inspired to do something similer. Quick question, so I'm either more inspired, or my balloon is popped. I'm guessing around 10-15k total for parts. Labor aside, (although I'm curious). Do you mind letting me know? Thanks.

  • @notyour94ranger. Thumbs up to the lack of puddle protection, but with that power, auto is still pretty fun. The only thing i found wrong is the weight. sitting in at 2500 pounds, a lighter frame material would have given way better power:weight,

  • Did you model the chassis in a CAD program before you built it or was it just done all by hand?

    Either way, seriously awesome.

  • Now it needs missle racks, oil slicks, machine guns and caltrops!!! hahaha j/k very cool as is... what do you call it?

  • I wouldn't have chosen automatic, but manual trans-axles aren't frequently found on V8s, and with modern transmissions, it's more personal preference than anything. He wanted automatic, or didn't want to fool with finding a manual, and running clutch hydraulics.

The biggest thing I would change is the lack of a front "firewall". Road debris would get annoying, and the slightest puddle would SOAK the driver.

  • Wow that thing is fucking fast and well built too. Automatic :(

  • awesome!

  • It looks briliant !

  • Great job! Now maybe i shall finish my chopper project. Thanks for your determination and inspiration!

  • How's the gas mileage on this thing?

  • @michaelzorrot5 dude i dont think this is their family car so who cares..great project!!

  • @michaelzorrot5 Considering how light it must be, it can't be supercar thirsty.

  • still if you had a really fast car like heaps fast i would put a automatic behind it

  • its not entirely my taste, but i gotta hand it to you man, you put in a lot of work an ingenuity to build it, and it is really damn impressive. a home built car is something i'd really like to do some day.

    great work

  • ohio plates.....nice

  • It only came in auto.. he just had the 5.3 Monte Carlo/Impala SS motor and trans, so.. you know.

  • Found this video on accident and realized these are local roads close to my house. I was like wow that looks like ******* road... then i was like OH thats cause it is!! Nice work man.

  • thats just awesome that would take forever to build espicially with your little son. he must really look up to you. awesome job

  • would hate to hit a mud puddle on that!

  • well do mate, great job!, suspension looks like its working a dream, did you have to mess around with the springs or did you select them according to the cars weight? are they adjustable also? sorry i know there from another car but i dont know my american cars.

  • that is sweet

  • wow amaizing congrats...automatic is cool, just drive and enjoy

  • that 0- 60 is damn quick man, thats an awesome build man

  • just think you wasted your time and money after all the work you put in an automatic really are you gonna let your wife drive???? wtf its a NICE NICE car but the auto just kills it... still totally jealous. rock on man just dont let your wife drive or your work will be for nothing when its wraped around a light pole

  • @zselenoff nothing wrong with automatic bro.

  • And what about mosquitos ?

  • @TheJusticeCross how do you deal with it on a motorcycle?

  • That would be epic for a hot summer day. but right now in november..

  • thats what i call craftsmanship!

how long did it take you to build it? i am very impressed!

  • dude that's awesome great job and for all the haters even if it is an auto it would still smoke your car any day it looks like a vette engine which i believe is an ls3 so auto or stick it would smoke your any day im sure this guy spent a lot of time on this car and he did a great job 3/4ths of you people couldn't even do something this clean so get a life and stop hating

  • Man, how long does it take to do 0-60? seems like one hell of a fast ride :-)

  • sweet ride mate!

  • nice :D how long did it take you?

  • performance figures?

  • btw, I loved it, contratulations and enjoy it!

  • considering that he has a wife and a little kid, its a good idea to make it automatic..

  • More exhaust noise that is all.

  • dont take this the wrong way but honestly i think it would be cooler if it was manual T instead of auto but auto is fine 2 i juss lik sticks more. that car is boss mode so either way it kicks ass!!!!

  • How much did the build cost? Nice finished car, looks great

  • As Elwood Blues said..."IT'S GOT PICKUP!"

What's in it? How much is bought stuff and how much did you fabricate yourself?

I think you wimped out with the screens.

Take 'em off and wear a helmet if you have to. In my Lotus 7 type kitcar, for 'added' protection instead of a pair of Raybans, i wore some bright red, minimum shade welding goggles!

I may have looked a pratt, but:

    1) i didn't care

    and

    2) you didn't see me for long...

  • See this guy for mold sports car: gogle grabercars

  • @zebra100300 Do you mean a mould? Is Gogle grabercars a company?

  • You really need a mold to make it real cool sports car

  • automatic... ? you need a manual its much more fun. i hate automatics. but the build is great :)

  • Dude awesome!!!

  • @vette139 whats the fastest you've got'n it too?

  • This can't be street legal. So where do you really drive it?

  • this car is fast, who cares if its auto wtf is wrong with people.. this dude busted is ass building it anyway stfu

  • @davidbherzfeld Actually, i'm with 'the people'. 'Proper cars' should have a manual gearbox.

    Hey, it's an opinion :)

  • @davidbherzfeld I know, if he put a manual in it he'd never get it finished.

  • dud nice you selling it??

  • Why the fuck would you want a manual on such great car? This car is light as fuck and has tons of torque and horsepower, it DOESNT FUCKING need a manual transmission to be fast! Get it internet nuubs?

  • I'm not a fan of auto gear boxes either, but props man..really cool

  • i dont see why people are dissing you on the automatic gearbox, like anyone else has built a better one, i think its awesome

  • not a big fan of the auto gearbox but good effort nonetheless, good on ya, if there is anything else you would want to improve on the car, i would probably suggest safety improvements

  • give it speed

  • that is amazing!

  • Sweet build mate, very nice.

  • thats the most awesome thing i've seen for ages

  • im guessing but i assume you pulled this out of an impala ss judging my the 5.3 and the autotransaxel? by the way what part of ohio is this shot in?

  • To all the other people out there who criticize - make your own damn car! He MADE IT HIMSELF the way HE wanted to! You don't like it? Do what he did and build one yourself - IF YOU CAN! All the rest of us - me included - say "Hey, I could maybe do that if he did." Maybe I could - maybe you could! Will you? Will I? I doubt it...

  • I respect this, I really do. You obviously have a lot of engineering knowledge. What I am not sure on, is why you'd choose to invest money in this when an Atom is relatively affordable as a used car. My second question would be, given your ability, why not go for a similar design to the atom. This project looks like a decomposed muscle car rather than a formula racer. This is just positive criticism and observation, excellent build job mate.

  • @vtrmcs well you gotta think now... ya he prolly really wanted an ariel atom but look what he has made with his own hands, the feelings alot better drivign down the road in a 100% unique car that you built and works, other than driving somethign else thousands of other people have .

  • 9 people have no appreciation for American ingenuity

  • you should name it kiss my exhaust fumes

  • you might need tire wells if you ever run it off road

  • Lol at the windscreens... What's wrong with some cool guy sunglasses? :P

  • @dctim If new york is anything like california then they're required by law... not to mention its nice not to have bugs in your face

  • I liked it before I watched it!

  • i timed that roughly, and 0-60 looked about 3.9 form maybe 3-4mph so around 4 seconds? if you made it a manual maybe 3.7-3.8? anyway awesome work man

  • everything seemed INCREDIBLE. then the auto-trans showed up.

  • pretty quick and seems fun=p nice build

  • excellent work, absolutely awesome craftsman ship, especially on the suspension, but the ls4.. it's definatly more of a cruiser that a race car, i don't know what the gearing is like but I bet it's long. shorter gears and a 6spd would make that into the baddest home made car ever. even though the ariel used it, the K20 and 6spd gear set up from a 06 civic SI or rsx-s would have been a better choice, simply because its gears are short and it's 6 spd. but increadable build.

  • Beaut job, congrats.... Yeh... Auto.... Not a biggy.... Seems to have plenty of 'snot' and so smooth. You HAVE TO BE PROUD of it, I sure would....... So... what's next ????? One for me ... l o l ... smile, smile, smile... Keep well, greetings from New Zealand... CHEERS

  • but i gues u can't smoke in that car LOL

  • But, that being said SWEET project man. Good on you!

  • I was choked when i realized theres no gear leaver hidden from the view of the camera.

  • I was choked when i realized theres no gear leaver hidden from the view of the camera.

  • Fucking awesome,great job man

  • nice, what do you do for a living?

  • nice job.... looks like a lot of fun!

  • cool! can we see some burn outs and donuts now plz..... nice work

  • If that landscape don't look like home in Indiana I don't know what does.

  • good job, atta boy!

  • fuckin sweet!!!! i was looking in to how to build something like that your own creation sweet and u can still put add ons thing is cool man but better if street leagal.

  • cost?

and how do you get it to be street legal

  • looks like a smooth ride!

  • those plastic things probably make it go a little slower don´t they?

  • Thats sick, great job

  • excellent job! it looks and sounds great. and it is very fast. the redneck hicks that think this needs a manual, don't seem to understand power to weight ratio while also acheiving traction. shut the mouth......dirtnecks.

  • Great job. Would like to know how many hours it took to build.

  • the auto.. well that particular engine doesn't have a manual transmission to hook up to it. it's the 5.3 i believe

  • As a car designer I must say you created a very convincing road car. I'm impressed at it's performance. However there are 2 modifications I would made:

    1. Put a floor. Not only helps prevent water splashing from puddles but it will stop stones from hitting you.

    2. Lower a bit the steering and you will get a more comfortable grip on your steering.

As for the mini-windshields, is not a big deal. Design-wise it looks better without them. But I get the point that you were looking for freedom w

  • I dislike the auto Transmission, but your project is one of the coolest things i saw here on youtube!

  • THATS SO COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL :D

  • how much did that cost you?

  • BADASS and well done sir!!!!

  • I'll bet that's the most fun you've had with your clothes on. I'd love to see more videos of you driving it. Don't worry about the wind noise, it only adds to the sense of motion. That thing is FAST! Great job.

  • You are amazing! I struggle making a go-Cart.

  • auto really? sad

  • 8 persons has a dick head

  • It looks like a dumpster with wheels your best bet would of been to buy an ariel atom there alot faster and look alot cooler.

  • As soon as you approached the intersection at 2:22, I knew exactly where you were. I've hauled ass around those 90° turns many, many times.

    Good work!

  • it is km/h, right?

  • That's in kilometer mph, not the regular mph.

  • 0-60 in 4.9

    Thats what i got

  • Amazing creation, it looks very high quality from the videos. I'd like to see someone do something like this with a 2.7 twin turbo from an A6, except with bigger turbos. The unobstructed sound of two big turbos would be intense.

  • so, obviously having a TON of mechanical skills and know-how, do you think it would be possible to put, say a 6.2l deisel in this, with very little modification? i love gas, but just curious to how that could work in something like this. because you have done something inspirational here, and i salute you for it.

  • pleaseeeeeeeeee show me how u made the frame please reply or something i want 2 make 1 my self

  • Holy shit dude. this is soooooo much cooler than an Ariel atom. Build me one?? ha ha jk.

  • good job! congratulation!. remove windshields and buy helmets?

  • you should buy a helmet :)

  • Its should be named like... Vette or Vette139 :]

  • Now about the body... something from FactoryFive? would be fun but what a ton of work...

  • I agree lose the windshields and go with helmets, much cooler

  • Something about the windshields bother me. Are those off of a couple motorcycles?

  • Automatic.........Transmission......what....the fuck. Come on man, come on....

  • Great job I wish I could do something as goodnas this ... Love every thing about it .

  • You should name it the Molecule :P

  • EWWWWW... AUTO TRANSMISSION!

  • @adasdqweqw Shut up you probably don't even own a car.

  • @adasdqweqw faggot

  • @adasdqweqw not everyone has a ton of money to lay down on a custom manual transmition...

  • @adasdqweqw dude he built a car....

  • @adasdqweqw IDK all you guys are baggin on the automatic. It was the easiest route to go to take a engine/transmission from a frontwheel drive GM car. Cheap, easy to find, all the LSX basic upgrades work. Unfortunatley using that powertrain means auto. No big deal, it will just be a little less fun to drive, should still perform as well as a stick.

  • @adasdqweqw auto is better big rigs are switching over to them too

  • Very cool... I bet it's a blast to drive!

  • How do you get something like this certified "street legal"?

  • @sh0 If I'm not mistaken, you start with a chassis from a current street legal car? All the functioning lights, seat belts, etc and so on.

  • What I like about this is the relative ease it would be to change the steering to the "right" side of the car and drive in other nations :D

  • The beaver haha

  • Top speed?

  • I don't mean to be rude, but if you have both arms and legs, why would you intentionally install an automatic transmission..? Did you accidentally order the wrong parts?

  • does it only have one gear

    nice engine noise

  • Oh my god you drove by my house....why have I not seen this thing?

  • I'd like to say congrats on building the car of your dreams. Screw the fact that some people want something else. It's on them that they can't build what they want so they have to complain about what someone else did :)
