Just for my own information as I live in the mountains of North Carolina and don't have to deal with the issue, what is done to fix the beach damage? Does heavy equipment from the state come out and push sand back in front of the houses or are the owners responsible for that? It would seem dangerous to leave the beach that way and still stay in the houses. Thanks to anyone who can help me with this. Peace.

OBjack, Thank you for the OBX South Nags Head videos. After 15 summers on Surfside, we are sad about its demise. Staying at MP 17.4 this summer.
