  • crap 8 times? nice!

  • Fuck man you got into it bad....

  • beautiful job man. that takes some cool nerves.

  • awesome video. ive been having the worst time getting the da20 to do more than a 1.5 rotation during the spin any tips on getting 8 rotations. me and another instructor have a bet going he says i cant spin it more than 2 rotations.

any help would be greatly appriciated

  • Need to recalibrate the heading indicator after this one? Haha

  • what the hell was that squeeking noise? sounded like the plane was about to get ripped appart.

  • @Raindarsus # that is the stall horn... a spin is an aggravated stall resulting in autorotation about the spin axis wherein the aircraft follows a corkscrew path. Basically on wing is stalled more than the other... thus causing the rotation

  • @surfcosta720 Yep thanks I remember the stall spin. Just the sound it self I had never heard before.

  • This is one of the best DA20 spin videos I've seen on youtube. This airplane tends to tighten its turn until about 5th turn then it becomes little flatter. Notice that the ball is always to the left regardless of the direction of the spin.

  • Thanks man, I see you're a CFI at Journey, I got checked out there last summer. I went to the University of Colorado, but went back and flew around for fun about a year ago. But thanks for the comments and observation

  • I graduated from CU in 07.

  • Man, that was insane. Great control of the aircraft on your part. I would be a little nervous during that one haha :) Cheers

  • how much altitude did you lose? looked like quite a bit.

  • We lost around three thousand feet

  • Interesting vid!
