i did have the 4.3 v6 and it blew at 170,000 miles

than i snatched a old 305 out of a 95 pickup

im planing on buying a 383 stroker out of jegs but im not sure if thats a good idea knowing the body has 171,000 miles on it

Nice, I had a 350 Blazer also but it was on a 4x4 platform. wasnt the way to go, but I got if for $500 so it wasnt a big loss. Locked up rear end so it did mean burnouts.

hey i'm not positive but i think this is the blazer i painted in tech school, did you used to have a 327 in it? and i think it was my neighbor who put the stripes on it.
