John wasn't happy in the band. Regardless of how great he's been with the chili peppers in the past, if he wasn't going to be giving the band his all, then I think it was the right decision replacing him.
Besides, John was Josh's mentor and he gets along great with the band. I'm expecting a great album.
he wrote all the music for a band called the bicycle thief,.their album's pretty sweet and co wrote A Sphere in the heart of silence album with John. I think he's a decent replacement tbh, i could not think of anyone else tbh
I hope josh doesn't try to copy what john has done because no one could ever do that. But it will be interesting to see what he brings to the band...maybe flea will reassert himself like with One Hot Minute
