i noticed you go by gyrowanabe. I fly a gyro and have been interested in the trikes (specifically a FIB). Have you flown a gyro and if so which one do you like best. Do you think i could transition into trikes without lessons?
Definitely don't fly a trike without lessons as the controls are essentially opposite. You might get away with it if you fly hang gliders first. I've been for some TIFs in RAAF 2000 and MTO3. I'm keen on the ELA. The trike has so many more limitations with wind and turbulence which is one of the reasons I like Gyros. So what is it about Trikes that interests you?
