Use water saving devices like water efficient washing machines, rotating nozzle sprinklers etc. I have recently put a dual flush in my toilet to cut down my water use.

Some more tips:
Turn off your faucet while brushing your teeth.
Wash only full loads of laundry.
Install a smart sprinkler controller.
