  • I really love 2:49. interesting cover..

  • very very cool:)

  • greaat!!

  • nice ;)

  • Needs a new lead. The backing guys were great.

  • love it!

  • And while the soloist did change up the lyrics a bit, which was a bit odd, covers are all about taking a song and making it your own, not an exact replica. For example, any cover that Type O Negative did, they don't sound like The Beatles or Neal Young's original renditions. They sound like Type O Negative and it's great. And so is this.

  • This version sounds like it should be called "Soul Trains".

  • AWESOME GUYS!

  • super job!

  • This just seems off to me...doesn't feel like Trains.

  • really, really amazing

  • I was so shocked to find this. And that you were doing a PT song. Wow.

  • For our last performance in year 12 we get to choose our own songs...we so have to do this , it's amazing

  • Any reasonably explanation why I got shivers down my spine and goosebumps all over my body?

  • Just amazing...

  • not bad at all :D

  • Surprenant. L'idée est bonne mais les arrangements sont ratés et le choix de la tonalité n'est pas adequat. domage.

  • wtf... shit ....steven wilson dont see this!!!

  • It takes some time of getting used to but now I love it. But I really think you need to know the original song to understand the rhythm thingy.

  • why is the rhythm so different?

  • OMG I love their dancing :D

  • Amazing. Love the song.

  • The guy has a sick voice, but it doesn't seem to fit with the rhythms that are going on, maybe they are to over powering?

  • Go listen to the song they are covering. It fits.

  • FUCKIN' RAD.

  • What have they done to the rhythm :(

  • well...try singing the original rhythm....you will se why ^^

  • one the greatest songs from one of the greatest bands well done!

  • the lead vocals are impresive

  • THIS IS GREAT!

  • Is there a drum being played in the background?

  • Fantastic! Inspired to the maximum.

  • THIS IS AMAZING

  • That was AWESOME!

  • This is fucking insane. <3

  • omg this would rock steven wilson really hard

  • oh my god wat have they done!!!!!!

i cant beleive what i hearing!!!!!

  • wowzers!

i was listening to some porcupine tree today and wondered about a cappella versions....

    glad i found this!

and a great song to arrange for an a cappella group would be mellotron scratch, seeing as it has an a cappella section at the end anyway

  • I Like it :)

    I wish i had singer's voice

  • they look stupid heheh

  • all acapella groups look stupid.

  • agreed

  • u got wrong the lyrics, without taking that in account...GREAT JOB!

  • THIS IS A COVER!!!!good job

  • Sounds nice, never thought i would hear this song like this, it sounds cool, good job

  • hahahaahahahah..russian ballet and pavaroti in one

  • GENIUS

  • Good job, the singer has a fine voice...

  • far from being the best cover of this song, but hey nice try, I liked it...

  • funny

  • Yea, i think i agree with the general consensus which is weird, although i gotta give them credit for trying a song that 95% of the ppl at the concert wouldnt know

  • Wowee! 5 stars :)

    Personally really love it!

  • This is a very interesting arrangement. Next, they should do "Heartattack in a Layby". Now THAT would be even more interesting.

  • That would be AMAZING.

  • Or even Collapse the Light into Earth

  • This is a very interesting idea, but not nearly polished enough. Work on it more!

  • interesting...not sure I liked the arrangement (which is by no means an easy task arranging a PT song) and I think the lead vocalist's interpretation wasn't the best...but not bad, a BOLD choice of a song, could use some more polish...

  • this is really cool :) well done

  • cool! sw would like it

  • This is sad... LOL

  • Hay que ensayar un poquito más ;)

  • Comment removed

  • Very talented lads, but I really don't like this. My ears just say "wroooonnnnng". Only because it's, in my opinion, butchering an incredible piece of music. What was the word after "engine"? When I hear the engine...what? Here? And yeah mcnaughty, the "I'm tying you up" thing is pretty funny.

  • This performance needs more cowbell

  • Really odd, different. but I got to say it's awesome. Nice job.

  • Despite the lyric flub, I thought that was rather cool. I'm quite impressed! I wonder what SW would say upon hearing this...

  • He's supposed to say "your tying ME up" not "I'm tying YOU up." HAHAHHHA. This is really weird in general.

  • Interesting. It gets really weird when the drums (in the original) are supposed to come in. Lots of hopping.

The fat dude in the front row is distracting.

  • Wow..

Not sure if I like it, but I guess that stems more from me not being into acapella singing. Honestly, I don't think they could have done any better job on an acapella version of this song. VERY impressive.
