@Vorophobe 1.8 TDCi Terrible engine, Old, Unrefined...Why not just go for the 1.6 TDCi ? the 1.6 only has 5 less BHP, And is a more modern, refined engine, in a lower tax band, and sounds nicer, rides less rough then the 1.8 TDCi.

These cars are super economical. Auto Express managed 85mpg with a 1.6L Econetic at a constant 60mpg!!!

Im getting my Focus sport 1.6 turbo diesel 5 door 2011 model at the end of march. I was wondering whats the performance like compared to previous models? Or even better how does it compare to a 5 Door 1.6 Turbo Diesel Focus C-Max 2009? ONE LAST QUESTION; what would you compare the new sport edition too in performace ? ( other branded cars )

The 1.8 only offers 5bhp more than the 1.6, true, but it has considerably more torque. I've driven both and I can say that the 1.8 definitely pulls better, although the 1.6 is smoother to drive and gets more miles to the gallon.

Una preguntota, resulta que mi ford focus sedan sport 2010 tiene seguros electricos, pero, no se activan automaticamente, si no asta que manualmente activo el del conductor, es normal???? alguien me puede ayudar para saber como hago para activar esta caracteristica o no lo hace.

@alexlovesmac £18,000 for titanium, this is not titanium. otherwise would have keyless entry and upgraded sound system, i have 59 plate and sound system is ALOT better. not to mention push button start, heated windscreen, and more :)

@alexlovesmac mine has the sony sound system, ill take a couple of snaps later when i get round to it and post it up here. but basically it has upgraded speakers, aux in, usb, bluetooth control (music and phone) and voice control etc. excellent little stereo. so much so im still in arguments with myself as to if i wanna put my sub in... lol. (however, it doesnt have a spare wheel - so i could drop a new box into the wheelwell, but im also looking for a spare dont trust the inflation kit thing ;)

@alexlovesmac run-flats? not sure you mean tyres? i have no spare. just an inflation kit thing in the boot... but the guy said it would take a BIG slit in the tyre to render the car undrivable... speaker count= unknown... i have yet to investigate this... but: four doors, and two tweeters in wing mirrors as i can see...

im in warwickshire... Took a few pics, but not uploaded em yet lol.

@alexlovesmac it definetly is.. their is no peugeot/ford engine mix :) i think these ford diesels are called duratorq and the petrol ones duratec.. or maby zetec in the uk
