I got this one in the collection. It kicks butt. I picked it up in Berkeley back in 1990. Very underrated album with an allstar cast including Jack Bruce of Cream fame. Excellent stuff.

I had this album on cassette tape when it came out in 1990. I still remember browsing at a store called "Harmony House" and finding it and thinking,"Holy shit! Bill Ward from Black Sabbath!?!?" LOL.. I unfortunately no longer have the cassette. I could kick myself for that!! Haven't heard these tracks in many, many years. Thanks for posting!!

Yeah, they're describing someone who is insane, but since there are many kinds of insanity, let me be a little more specific: The lyrics are describing a person who spends every waking moment of their lives being haunted by thoughts. These thoughts are usually something like "how do I know that everything exists?", and he takes these thoughts very seriously. So seriously, in fact, that he becomes trapped in his mind in such a way that his only hope for peace is sleep...or death. Very disturbing.
