He is playing in the key of G so i would assume he is Just picking out the bar chords to the song. So G C D Em. Sounds like he might be sliding up the neck on a few notes. Pretty simple stuff. Not alot of effects too. some reverb and alot of Mids. Gibson les paul with the toggle switch to the middle and a nice tube amp with a TS9 overdrive Turned pretty far down should do it. Hillsong also likes Hollow bodys. you could use one of them too!

it's a hidden easter egg. if you go to the wikipedia page for the album, it'll tell you how to get there. i forget the exact sequence of events right this second. there's also one on the 'look to you' DVD if you have that too. just check the wiki page for that album.

@merola1024 actually to be more precise, Joel used to play bass in Hillsong while in Hillsong United he was already the lead with Marty. Now Joel is still the main lead in Hillsong United but also plays with Hillsong. Marty is less involved even though he did write and sing the song "Aftermath" on the last United cd ;-)
