I beg to disagree; since many of the US XM projects have lost their funding, the best Self--propelled Howitzer--Cannon is, in my opinion, K9 Thunder from South Korea! I would love for the Polish Krab to be the winner, but not even close to this Korean "super" weapon!
The G6 range of 73Km out-paces everything in this group, notwithstanding the fact this artillery piece is now over 20 years and was the first mobile 155mm gun to be able to shoot on the move as far as I know. It is likely that many subsequent artillery pieces were modelled around the G6 as it was proven to be world class by it's cousin the G5 (non mobile 155mm version) at the Battle of Cuinavale in 1987 where the South African artillery had complete and undetected control of the ground.
@OBCBTTB with vulcano long range munition the PzH 2000 has an range above 100km! You cant beat the germans in Tank or Aartillery battles! They had build the biggest artillery unit ever made 800mm ind WW2! They lost the war because they hadnt so much man for fighting to the end but their technoligy was tenthousand times better then the other stuff

The Germans of yesteryear built things to last and perhaps that was their undoing with their tanks on the front-line during WWII as the Russians by the end of the war were producing tanks by the thousands many of which were built only to last for one battle, whereas the Germans made things to last which no doubt took longer to make. The South African G5 and G6 when it was developed in the 80's outclassed anything on the battlefield, it could send a shell into orbit.

In terms of combat proven equipment my guess is that the first American M109A6 is the one that has seen more extensive action in real combat. I mention this because this kind of experience is important to further develop and improve a weapon system. You can do all kinds of simulations and trainings but nothing will compare to the real thing.
Ah, the K-9 Thunder with its K-10 ammunition supplier would be definitely much more time-efficient, not to mention the fact that modern warfare relies heavily on internal equipment as much as the actual gun itself, am I right? And definitely, the K-9 has state-of-the-art equipment.
Not to mention, the K-9 is way more price efficient than all of the other tanks, according to the info on the chart.

but oto melare makes vulcano ammo for 127mm naval and 155mm pzh2000 turrets ammo 70km or 100km range. (without rocket propulsion but they have a large recoil in the turret)
don't know why archer is 3rd. I think it is the most innovative weapons system out of the 3 top 3s even though it is wheeled, it is still 6x6 and is proven to be not very different from tracked vehicles. and also it is feeded by a 20 round magazine in the turret and only need 2 crew. I would really love to have in the RoK army. and its ammunition is guided and is proven to be most accurate. see the future weapons vedio of the archer.
@pkt1005 archer was developed in switzerland which I am very sure is mountainous. Archer is based on articulated trucks so mobility is better than normal 6x6 vehicles
