i remembered one person that picked the case that his grnadfather died (i think it was 17) and the first case he pivked was 6 for his daughter's birthday and it had 1,000,000 in it. i wont forget that....
Hans Hartleben was the first contestant to knock down the top prize as his first pick! The episode aired on April 5, 2006 (one day before my 21st birthday).
That is far from true. The first contestant to lose the top prize on the first pick was Rebecca van de Ven on May 3, 2006. Concidentally, she also picked case 8 as her case like Mike, opened case 13 which contained $1,000,000 like Mike, and took the deal of $9,000 like Mike.
The REALLY sad thing about the case #15 clip was, that contestant was given a chance to win 5 new cars in her game too. If only she didn't pick that case in the first round... then she would've had at least one car.
The black woman had knocked down case #15 which had the $1 million in it! The white man had knocked down case #26 which also had the top prize in it ($1 million)!
1:21 is the best reaction!

At 0:06, the contestant wasn't the first top prizer picker, he has knocked down $500 before knocked $1,000,000.

One of the best episodes is when the guy has 3 million in his case but he takes a deal of $675,000. I think his name was Manny or something.

Yes, his name was Manny.

Christmas '08, game 2.
$1,000,000 on first pick (#11).
Still, that guy won more than any of the contestants in this video ($227,000).

Thanksgiving '06:
$1,000,000 lost on the first pick
Thanksgiving '07:
$1,000,000 brought to the table
(although it was a $2,000,000 game)
Thanksgiving '08:
$2,000,000 brought to the table
It's funny how Thanksgiving DoND works out...

The contestant who had the $2,000,000 case won $260,000.

Yes, but still, that one guy from the previous Thanksgiving (who had a $1,000,000 case) finished with $307,000.

At 0:49 is why we are a bit lacking in millionaires.

Oh yeah, I remembered something:

she went on to win $64,000

There were two recent episodes of the Deal or No Deal show which a black woman and a white man had picked the top prize as their first pick!
