it cost now 400Aus from Melb to LA firt flight with Qantas A380, I am going buy ticket for flight Melb to LA for Oct 20 cant wait

well i must say, i liked the powerfull sound of the Boeing 777 from the inside,
i will miss the engine sound i think... i must be quiet for the environment, but the takeoff was all about the sound xD

Remember, may be a long takeoff roll, but the A380's first flight employed a de-rated take off thrust of 76% of rated thrust.
Not bad for a plane that was close tot he 1.2 million lbs of MTOW (Maximum Take Off Weight!)

Heavy aircrafts such as Airbus A380, Boeing 747, Antonov An225 and more won't use full throttle to take off. If pilot's exceed that point, it would damage the Runway.
