  • is YouTube censoring this video? Why is it not working? I keep getting "An error occurred, please try again later". My internet works and all the other videos are working. Error my ass.

  • @SAOTUBE Yeah I don't know, it's doing the same thing on my computer. shame I really want to watch this.

  • "There is no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people."

    -Howard Zinn

"All wars are follies. Very expensive and mischievous ones. It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority."

    -Benjamin Franklin

"We cannot solve problems of today with the same thought process we used creating them."

    -Albert Einstein

  • over a million Iraqi and Afghani CIVILIANS dead...who are the terrorists?

  • 1:53 Tell em Ron! Ron Paul 2012!

  • Ron Paul, Respect!

Ron Paul reminds me a lot of Pres. John. F. Kennedy, both are true and free thinkers both stand on principals both speak out against the global conspiracy.

  • It's hard to win an election (especially the presidency) when you don't have the support of the media. Dr Paul did not have that support. He is too "liberal" on some issues for the neocons on Fox to support. He is too "conservative" for the populists on MSNBC. He won't kiss ass or grease palms. He won't give any handouts so the "ruling elite" won't throw their corrupt weight behind him. They will only oppose him. This prevents the general public from hearing what he has to say.

  • 1) good example of the overreaching power of the executive branch, there was no declaration of war as required by the contitution.....making it unconstitutional 2) no matter the death toll, its too many for us 3) more reason to get out of there since everyone's intellignece was wrong 4) why get involved then? sounds like a place we shouldn't be unless its to get Bin laden 5) our foreign policy in response to extremeists should be more like orthoscopic surgurey then open-heart nation building

  • Mr. Paul overlooked facts: 1) There was a Senate vote 77-22 supporting President's request to invade. 2) Iraqi dead number 150,000, not 1 million. Still, too many. 3) Intelligence from all nations, not just CIA, said Saddam had WMDs; he was violating the 17 UN articles. 4) Middle East has been chaotic since end of WWI when the Ottoman Empire fell. 5.) Wahhabists have been fundamental zealots for 3 centures. We just happen to be their next target; they've killed everyone else in range.

  • 1) Mr. Paul didn't over look anything here, maybe you're just confused as to the difference between how it happened, and how it is SUPPOSED to happen. Of course there was a senate vote, everyone knows that.

    3) I suppose that was why we found the WMD's, right? Heh.

  • he speaks common sense which makes him very easy to understand

    brilliant

  • what is behind the whole picture is clear to the few and far between. Dr R Paul is one of the few

  • this guy just speaks sense. but the greedy republicans wont support him

  • I wish I could edit my post. Too many mistakes because I typed it too fast. lol

  • People like Ron Paul will NEVER win american presidential elections because he is the right man for the job. Sounds funny eh? People like him will only win once americans take control over Washington and take the streets with some ANGER.Americans have become to complacent with their prime time television.

  • this guy needs to run for president or what ever cause he knows what the hell is wrong with this country

  • this is who i wanted to win

  • Me, too...but this country no longer believes in Liberty, I'm afraid.

  • The Israeli gov't allows their soldiers with PTSD to treat it with medical marijuana.

  • ron paul is a hero and i love him but he misses one point,

iraqis weren't killing americans but each others: sunnis vs. shittes.

the reason that they kill each other is NOT american presence but ignorance

  • I just watched "Valley of Elah" and I had no idea that our troops are coming home with Post Tramatic Stress Disorder (like the Vietnam Vets) and no one is helping them with the crap that they went through and saw over there. BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!

  • That is something that has been known about since civil war times, only they called it something else back then, "shellshocked" I believe it was called.

I do not think the government cares what happens to any of us, we are all replaceable, they just let "New Citizens" come in, just like with wetbacks, if the government didn't want them here working for food crumbs we would have the military guarding our border instead of Korea's.

we need to replace our government, and its legal to do so.

  • I am sorry if this offends. I realize that a lot of people resort to insults to prove their points on youtube. My thoughts are simple observations. The US did nothing about the situation in Zimbabwe or Russia's occupation of Georgian Lands. it is one thing to talk, it is another to act. Why only act on weaker nations. If you are policing the world then it should be indiscriminate. Georgia and North Korea are bigger threats than little Iran. Be brave and remove these threats before fighting Iran

  • Or just refrain from preemptive strikes against anyone unless the threat is legitmate and the decleration a legal one that has been approved. The more we get involved with foreign problems, the more we sink deeper into economic turmiol and international threats. We can do all that we can to prevent proliferation, but the truth is is that the more we try to take these weapons away from other countries, the more likely it is that they will use them. They only want them for defense.

  • I am not American. Just a few points from Ron Paul's speech. America went to war without the approval of congress. This is wrong. America Went to war without the approval of the UN. This is wrong. There are terrorists everywhere. How come the US only seems to invade weaker nuclear deficient regimes. Why not invade North Korea, or China for the Tianemen Massacre, or Pakistan for housing terrorist. The Answer: FEAR!!! and there is no oil or money in it. This is not courage or Nobility.

  • The President has the power to go to war for 90 days without a congressional vote. The UN is anti-freedom and we should leave it anyways. I don't agree with the statement we only go to war with oil producing countries, remember Vietnam, and the Korean war?

  • actually, we never declared war on Iraq, AND congress approved military action against Iraq in 2002.

so maybe you should let someone from America, who is an American citizen, handle his own politics.

  • people are like you are a f**&^*king disgrace to the world not just America my dear American citizen. If you do not like what someone has to say then don't read, instead of becoming obnoxious like the ass that you are now being.

  • Everytime i hear this man speak, i have to tell myself that the election has been rigged and undermined. I can't accept that reasonable people haven't voted for this man, especially when you look and listen to the alternatives.

  • ALL HAIL IMPERIAL AMERICA

    1954 - Present

  • Ron Paul has been consistently saying this for God knows how long. Our income can't possibly rise as fast as the prices of consumer goods. Gas and groceries surged upwards, while my income didn't rise one cent. The good doctor was the only candidate to even touch upon that.

  • "Obama/Paul '08."

Not until Obama leaves the CFR. A better match would be kucinich/paul in a new party. The propaganda owned media would never even talk about a new party though. Many states won't even let you write in a candidate if they lost in the primary. I'm still trying to figure out why that is. Aren't I supposed to be able to vote for who I want? With the Diebold, will my vote even count? Our country needs help.. but it will take all of us.. the ruling elite are ruining America.

  • Obama/Paul '08. Now that would be really revolutionary if you ask me- two constitutional politicians that are moderate, defend civil liberties. Sure, not all of their ideas are on par, but I think they present the best ideals of both, and perhaps there would be some middle ground to find compromise. Maybe I'm a naive dreamer, but at least I still have my dreams.

  • You are in a sick dream world. Talking about politics in a class room is completely different from holding to constitutional principles under fire. Anyways, its painfully clear the Democrats dont believe in principles.

  • Eh, Obama is not a constitutional politician. Just look at how how voted on FISA, disregarding the 4th amendment...

  • 'the federal reserve is crashing our dollar' - so what would you have the fed do? raise interest rates? i bet you'd have great fun wallowing in the recession. And xxashyy - seriously, are you saying that if Japan hadn't attacked America, you would have been opposed to the US intervening in Europe in 1943/44?

  • Yes i would have been opposed to America getting into that war and Charles A. Lindbergh was right. Also look at the damage WW2 in the long run caused for us. First of all it wasnt are fight against the Germans, but against the japanese. You know the people who attacked us (shades of Iraq).

  • This is why you arent a military strategist.

  • Secondly I believe s soviet assassin or a german patriot would have killed Hilter in the long run which would saved a lot of American lives.

  • Thirdly and probably the most disastrous was that the war set America and Britain up as some sort of "world policeman" or "democracy promoter" to fight other dictators (other Hitlers)and destroy countries we dont like. Hitler is more dangerous dead than alive. Everytime the US government try and start another war they use Hitler's name to start it. Ever notice that?

  • As for the fed thats a criminal racket anyways and should be abandoned. Is not even a part of the US government, but a private bank in europe. Also the fed is crashing our dollar because theyre printing too much money. Why do people like yourself fall for this nonsense. WW2 was a great war, Iraq is going great, the fed is doing its job, etc, etc, blah, blah. Americans need to open they're minds more.

  • International bankers get nations into war. Declassified documents show the government knew Japan was gonna attack Pearl Harbor. Their has been an "excuse" for every war fought and most of them turn out to be false.

Start of WWI - Archduke Ferdinand Assasinated, assasinations usually scream conspiracy.

WWII - Hitler's rise to power financed by Prescott Bush and others.

Vietnam - Gulf of Tonkin, false flag attack.

    etc.

  • Ron Paul has an ironic sense of humor and his speeches are always humoristic. I said 6 months ago that he Ron Paul is idealistic and pro-American in a pre-WW2 sense, isolationist, anti-fed. I said he is excellent speaker but he that going back to the frontier is not realistic. And that Barack Obama with his moderate globalism would be better. Now I can't believe that anymore. He seems to speak against all hierarchy and for anarchism and individual empowerment. Maybe the Americans should votehim

  • this man is such an idiot. 'we usually do it only in countries that have oil'. ignoring the obviously poor grammar, he is still totally wrong. somalia - no oil. bosnia - no oil. kosovo - no oil. nicaragua - no oil. afghanistan - no oil. i mean, what an idiot. i really wish someone would ask him what he would have done about hitler. He is so isolationist he would probably have kicked back and watched the holocaust on CNN...

  • Name one other candidate that votes strictly on the constitution. It is the rule of law. Period. If you like your freedoms bjzm17 you'd better wake up. If you understand Ron Paul, he also speaks out about nation building. Like in Kosovo, afganistan, etc. His reference to oil is in the middle east. There is strong talk of a war in Iran. If you think our dollar is weak now, give it another six months. Just remember, the federal reserve is crashing our dollar.

  • Yeah an idiot that was warning this country about the coming financial collapse which is beginning right now. Maybe you should look into the planned oil and natural gas pipelines that are supposed to run through Afganistan. WW2 was the result of our unnecessary interventionist involvement in WW1 as well as our government's economic policies that led to the depression. He would have spoken out against the sanctions that the Versaille treaty imposed on Germany which led to the rise of Hitler.

  • First of all Ron Paul is right the US government should get its troops out of these other countries. Were not an empire. Second as for this hollowco$t business or racket, thats not why the US entered the war. Also the american public didnt really want to enter that war to begin with. It was not our fight until japan attacked us as a response to FDR and other european powers holding a oil embargo on japan. So we were also lied into WW2. So Ron Paul is right. NO MORE WAR. NO MORE EMPIRE.

  • He wasn't talking of strictly only armed conflicts but of subsidies and sanctions all over the middle east.

  • thats why you look closely at the VP and the speaker of the house

  • Yes, of course. I didn't think of that. Anyway, I hope Obama gets Hillary as VP candidate. A winning team for sure! :)

  • A winning team for global fascism. A losing team for American freedoms and the peace of the planet.

  • You're right, most dictators are white, middle aged and male. But you are going to be old too. That doesn't force you to give up your opinions.

  • This man woke up something absolutely tremendous.

I believe he woke us up, or at least ignited a huge irreversible blaze. I think a major American revolution is in the works among us.

  • Nah.

  • Relevance to Zimbabwe, Darfur?

  • Ron Paul rules

  • Which is the lesser of evils?

    Those who "will not" see?

    Those who "will not" hear?

Those who may hear but "will not" listen?

Or, perhaps those who "will not" speak out about injustice, corruption, greed, graft,

    obscene misuse of power, TREASON?

(choose all that apply) Is this what America means to you?

  • Yeah. If America were thinking this man would be president.

  • indeed

  • we are, as a whole, incapable of thinking and caring this deep. Paul is not the answer, but he has started making some people think.

  • I respectfully disagree with you but I hope that you will put progressives feet to the fire when they don't do what they've been elected to do and that we can work together to solve these things.

While I was campaigning for Dr. Paul I had epic battles with Obama people over philosophic points but they never realized that he is just another spineless dem who will stomp civil liberties too.

  • Unfortunately, the modern Republican Party, and the modern Democratic Party for that matter, does not reward caution, though; nor see it as a virtue, but rather a weakness. Gone are the days of a formal congressional "Declaration of War." In fact, the U.S. has now acted without express congressional military authorization on 125 separate occasions; a list that continues to grow.

    When will it end?

    Vote Ron Paul 2012
