@Zyyler55 There has never been a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sequel, there have been two stand alone add-on or expansions. Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat are both prts of the same story, Shadow of Chernobyl. Yes there will be a sequel, but there is bad news... The next S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game is multiplatform... Would be ok if it was just PS3, but sadly this includes the ancient, dusty relic FAILBox 360. So we will have to wait and see how S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 turns out. GSC promises PC first though.

Clear Sky was a great prequel. It made great additions such as possibility to modify weapons and suits. It lets you get all the money you gained and put it to good use. In SoC you are pretty much a millionaire by the end. Not so in CS. In the end I had a modded SVD and modded FT-200M as well as maximum-armor SEVA suit. But a bit of advice. If playing at higher difficulty - make sure you have about 100 bandages and HEAPS of scientific or military medkits since those monolith are good shots :(

In the ending what you see, if you understood what was going on in Shadow of Chernobyl and in Clear Sky, is Strelok along with all the other stalkers captured in the last emission being programmed (using the CRT screens) to hunt down and kill Strelok, sicne the Monolith guys and the C-Consciousness do not know that Strelok was in the group of people they captured.
Honestly Clear Sky was pretty disappointing as a whole, especially the single ending when Shadow of Chernobyl had 7.
Clear sky was fun, I like the lowering of the bridge scene - wish i got to use more armour / weapons but all in all it was fun, I got the ending when there's like 100 of them in a dark room giggling like stoner's then it goe's to the Pan with the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Written on his arm ~

great ending....people who don't get it let me explain to you...it's about the strelok,the main character from the first stalker who had a task to kill himself and when he finds out what happened he kills the psi-councious...and the action from clear sky is happening before shadow of cernobyl and in this game shows at the ending when strelok loses his memory...

the ending was really sad. Especailly for Strelock, i mean, he worked so damn hard to reach the centre of the zone, only to get owned, after months and months of plannning most likely, only to get brainwashed by the bloody monolith
okie, for u slow folks, scar gets turned into a zombie/monolith fighter. In stalker 1, strelok is the body in the back, the reason strelok has the PDA to kill himself, is because the monolith confuse scar with strelok, and give scars' PDA to strelok.

U find strelok's PDA in his hiding spot under the aprogom research institute in CS u can't pick it up, but u can listen to what it says, in SoC same spot, execpt it doesn't look like a PDA and it's called a "flash drive"
In SoC u are strelok and the PDA with kill the strelok is scars PDA since u were in the same room thy got mixed up so u basically use the same PDA for 2 games I'm not really sure wat happen to scar tho it's either he's dead, still alive but unmentioned or wat the person said in the comment below

I thought SoC was a slightly better game. In CS once you enter Liminsk the game essentially turns into a linear shooter. They also did not explain what happened to Scar. Was he the dead guy in a truck at the beginning of SoC. But overall, I thought it was a good prequel.
They are both great games, Scar 's part in the story is done, he is either a Monolith soldier, a brainwashed assassin or dead now. I suppose he could have been the dead guy in the truck.
I've read that Scar becomes Charon - leader of the Monolith during SoC - and you can kill him in the Monolith HQ in Prypiat - near the fake Monolith statue, he can be identified easily for his Vintar BC, he's the only npc who's using it during SoC.
@steveseason if I knew that once you cross into Liminsk, the fun ends, I'd have stayed in the Red Forest, slaughtering zombies, ghost dogs....it is a good thing I saved it before I headed into Liminsk. At least Liminsk did have some excellent battles, head shots all the way

lol themself? You need to replay stalker then buddy. All stalker are brainwashed by the C collective to perform various missions, not suicide. They did a misstake by allocating new stalkers to terminate strelok, he was ONE of them, that's why he's hunting himself (this is all explained in the original)

well i beat it and this is really confusing, what is creating the anomolys/emissions, what captures stalkers, how do they even manage to put the stalkers in that room, how is it possible a tv can brainwash you, how come the emissions only kill you if your not in a building, and what would happen if strelok got into the nuclear power plant, and why is a power plant a brainwash center, what is the point of that Fucking zone! why do they call it a death truck, how the fuck is a truck death!!!
C-conciousness is causing the emmisions, they lore stalkers to the brain scorcher, capture them and brain wash them.
Then they put them in death trucks, dump them back in the zone if they survive the process and use them as bait to bring more stalkers to the scorcher unknowingly to join C-conciousness or join monolith.
Sterlok did get into the power plant in the first game. this game is going off the ending he joined the C-C.
Wow totally wrong. Th C-Consciousness does not want anyone bothering them while they run experiments. The Brain Scorcher is to deter visitors. The Monolith are fooled into defending a false wish granter which is just a diversion from Stalkers finding the C-Consciousness. The death trucks are used to distribute brainwashed assassins throughout the zone and also to remove the dead from the zone. It is still unclear how Stalkers become Monolith. Could be the scorcher could be the wish granter.
This game is also a prequel so it comes before Shadow of Chernobyl, so no, it's not going off the final ending true ending of SoC. SoC picks up after Strelok is brainwashed and sent back to the zone in a death truck.

i paused it cause i haven't beaten the game yet, and i want to see the ending for myself but i have some questions, what do all the factions have to offer, and were can i find a good video on were to get great artifacts/weapons or armor? i just finished freedoms quest of obliterating duty and got an epic exoskele suit though. at first i only chose freedom cause their all potheads on happy pills and have the sniper uppgrades.
Its supposed to be that they are all being brainwashed to work/serve the Monolith. Apparently in "Shadows", there is a Monolith member within the NPP called "Marked One". Strelok on the other hand, is "re-programmed" to serve the C-consciousness, as seen in "Shadows".

Marked One IS Strelok, he lost his memory because he was mid-brainwashed by the C-consciousness, only losing his personal memory because the truck crashed.

it sucked.. I had saved like 300 shots of Dragonuv ammo but I never found the actual gun. I'd seen people using it but I couldn't reach them. I also had a SEVA suit when I did the final mission, that was a big drag. Where do I find a Exoskeleton??
you have/can buy the exoskeletont from the upper fraction from the merchant in agroprom reasearch institute, If you zoom out to the maximum on the map you can see the names of the places m8!. :) good luck!

Its weird this game, I totally loved the RPG elements through 3/4 of the game but when you finally have to go after Strelok; the game stops you from selling on your collective junk of guns, etc.. So make sure you get everything you need before moving on and buy lots of health packs and upgrades. The sniper rifle is very effective but I never came across the RPG weapon as I have missile for it, where is it? As soon as I completed the game I started a new game but on hardest difficultly.
enemy's put on their bullets seems to dissapear, and even do the opposite when i pick them up. also, i'v never seen a game where the secondary "pistol" was just as useless, if not more useless than the knife. it takes like a whole clip of headshots to kill an enemy with the pistol.
which unlike most games, you still have a few hours of gameplay after that point and the armor durability goes to zero in like 4-5 fights. i'v found that the best weapon in the game, is the one that the enemy's drop ammo for because even though people ventured to the zone for riches, i was straight broke 90% of the time, mostly from buying ammo for a "good" gun, then spending a whole clip to shoot a single target, only actually hitting him a few times because the magic accuracy spell that the

I thought SoC was a slightly better game. In CS once you enter Liminsk the game essentially turns into a linear shooter. They also did not explain what happened to Scar. Was he the dead guy in a truck at the beginning of SoC. But overall, I thought it was a good prequel.

They are both great games, Scar 's part in the story is done, he is either a Monolith soldier, a brainwashed assassin or dead now. I suppose he could have been the dead guy in the truck.

I've read that Scar becomes Charon - leader of the Monolith during SoC - and you can kill him in the Monolith HQ in Prypiat - near the fake Monolith statue, he can be identified easily for his Vintar BC, he's the only npc who's using it during SoC.

@steveseason if I knew that once you cross into Liminsk, the fun ends, I'd have stayed in the Red Forest, slaughtering zombies, ghost dogs....it is a good thing I saved it before I headed into Liminsk. At least Liminsk did have some excellent battles, head shots all the way

lol themself? You need to replay stalker then buddy. All stalker are brainwashed by the C collective to perform various missions, not suicide. They did a misstake by allocating new stalkers to terminate strelok, he was ONE of them, that's why he's hunting himself (this is all explained in the original)

in my opinion clear sky had some features that even out most of the bad elements like joining some fanctions so easily and upgrading your shit!
i just wish there was a diffrent eding or multiple endings! I JUST CANT HOLD MY MIND TOGETHER FOR THE NEXT ONE TO ARRIVE!!!

there can only be one ending (strelok getting caught and brainwashed in that hallway) because it has to line up with the start of SoC since its a prequel, the start of SoC is a brainwashed strelok sent to kill himself

well i beat it and this is really confusing, what is creating the anomolys/emissions, what captures stalkers, how do they even manage to put the stalkers in that room, how is it possible a tv can brainwash you, how come the emissions only kill you if your not in a building, and what would happen if strelok got into the nuclear power plant, and why is a power plant a brainwash center, what is the point of that Fucking zone! why do they call it a death truck, how the fuck is a truck death!!!

C-conciousness is causing the emmisions, they lore stalkers to the brain scorcher, capture them and brain wash them.
Then they put them in death trucks, dump them back in the zone if they survive the process and use them as bait to bring more stalkers to the scorcher unknowingly to join C-conciousness or join monolith.
Sterlok did get into the power plant in the first game. this game is going off the ending he joined the C-C.
your mission to kill him is just a trick

Wow totally wrong. Th C-Consciousness does not want anyone bothering them while they run experiments. The Brain Scorcher is to deter visitors. The Monolith are fooled into defending a false wish granter which is just a diversion from Stalkers finding the C-Consciousness. The death trucks are used to distribute brainwashed assassins throughout the zone and also to remove the dead from the zone. It is still unclear how Stalkers become Monolith. Could be the scorcher could be the wish granter.

This game is also a prequel so it comes before Shadow of Chernobyl, so no, it's not going off the final ending true ending of SoC. SoC picks up after Strelok is brainwashed and sent back to the zone in a death truck.

i paused it cause i haven't beaten the game yet, and i want to see the ending for myself but i have some questions, what do all the factions have to offer, and were can i find a good video on were to get great artifacts/weapons or armor? i just finished freedoms quest of obliterating duty and got an epic exoskele suit though. at first i only chose freedom cause their all potheads on happy pills and have the sniper uppgrades.

Its supposed to be that they are all being brainwashed to work/serve the Monolith. Apparently in "Shadows", there is a Monolith member within the NPP called "Marked One". Strelok on the other hand, is "re-programmed" to serve the C-consciousness, as seen in "Shadows".

you have/can buy the exoskeletont from the upper fraction from the merchant in agroprom reasearch institute, If you zoom out to the maximum on the map you can see the names of the places m8!. :) good luck!

Its weird this game, I totally loved the RPG elements through 3/4 of the game but when you finally have to go after Strelok; the game stops you from selling on your collective junk of guns, etc.. So make sure you get everything you need before moving on and buy lots of health packs and upgrades. The sniper rifle is very effective but I never came across the RPG weapon as I have missile for it, where is it? As soon as I completed the game I started a new game but on hardest difficultly.

enemy's put on their bullets seems to dissapear, and even do the opposite when i pick them up. also, i'v never seen a game where the secondary "pistol" was just as useless, if not more useless than the knife. it takes like a whole clip of headshots to kill an enemy with the pistol.

which unlike most games, you still have a few hours of gameplay after that point and the armor durability goes to zero in like 4-5 fights. i'v found that the best weapon in the game, is the one that the enemy's drop ammo for because even though people ventured to the zone for riches, i was straight broke 90% of the time, mostly from buying ammo for a "good" gun, then spending a whole clip to shoot a single target, only actually hitting him a few times because the magic accuracy spell that the
