@ AdrianC12345. When I say vehicle reliability I mean MECHANICAL reliability. Hell on the UAW site they listed Toyota as having the MOST number of recalls across most of their lineup recently. I wish I had a AWD SX4 I'm probably gonna get a base LS Chevy cobalt because of the GM discount incentives. My AWD GMC Safari has 150,000 miles on it and I need better mileage. But the Mich snow kicks our asses from time to time without some type of 4 wheel drive. The SX4 would fit the bill nicely. The cobalt is gonna have to be a manual trans the cheaper the better. It's 155hp isn't bad though.
You should check out the Suzuki incentives that are going on now though. I think its $2000 factory cash back for a manual, free gas for 3000 miles, and you could probably get more off from the dealer. I plan on getting a loaded one that usually is $19,900 for about 14,800 (includes my trade in).
@ waytoday09. I'm getting my NEW 09 Pontiac G5 for get this $8,100!!!! I put in $500 deposit so now it's like $7,683. I will pick it up around mon or tues. Cash for clunkers sure helped. My trade is a 2000 GMC Safari van AWD it gets hummer mileage. The G5 has around a 5 or $6,000 rebate plus my $4,500 4 the van PLUS a GM employee discount. I couldn't pass that up. And it's decently loaded alloys, mylink, auto, etc.

Sorry, you could have gotten a used SX4 with 30,000 miles or less which are about the same price. And how in any way did I insult you when I was just telling you that you could have got another car especially since you live where it snows. Take it easy dude, just tried to help.

GM for example LIED that they were going broke in north america when actually all they did was move their wealth to communist CHINA and a few other countries. They left because they didn't want to PAY the american workers a fair LIVING wage. They all have problems due to bad management not vehicle reliability. You're brainwashed by anti americans. Well reliability will be part of sales and if they aren't selling it could be part of their reliability ratings. What are "anti americans"? And if they had bad management then the ceirtanly wouldn't care for how reliable their cars are.

Anti americans are people who are STRICTLY foreign company brown nosing suckasses! True why should we buy from GM when they stab us in the back but at the same time you have no chance of improving your country buying from foreigners either. My Neighbor has a 90 chevy suburban with over 425,000 miles and it is a UAW made truck. I told U my situation with $.
