This Pedal is Terrible. Digitech has the DT whammy and it is awesome. Musch like the WH1 from the past. This model you have like I also had...is very unstable and needs to be recalibrated almost every time you use it. People sell the WH1's for $500.00 on up! If you need a whammy that will even blow up whole chords with clean stable action the DT Whammy rules. This one is a flop!

Sounds like an octavio style. Fuzz pedals are similar to octavio. The whammy effect is just the same as doing a little bit of whammy bar. Not the worst sounding pedal, but i've never used one.

@adamd320i Gearmandude is more of a bluesy classic/hard rocker, in that sense, I can see how any blues guitarist would think this pedals crap. Metal heads know the deal with this pedal and its great if you know how to use it.

Digitech switched from the JVC chip to their cheaper chip, that's why it sounds so "crackly". The First two whammies had the good chip, which is why they sound so much better.
