Wow! That is excellent! It's really cool what you did. I have a Philco radio from 1920-something. The technology is outdated. But I may be able to do something with it someday.
Try having it restored instead of putting a LCD scren on it that will look ridiculous after the novilty wears off. If you have a Philco radio from the 20's do a Google seach for radio restoration services and get it playing again! It will become a priceless family hierloom.

thats sad that they damaged it....nice stuff i love old technology...i wish somebody would put a mini computer in an old pc case...a really old one
