  • Hi, Mike! Didn't you say in your last contest that you were going to have a contest at the beginning of the year, or in a couple of weeks?

    Jw.

  • Hey Mike great vid. I've been using my ADJ Gobo Projector LED as a follow spot it works great. And thanks for the vid on how to make your own Gobos.

  • In your opinion, do you think a set of 4 or 6 of these up on a 15 foot tripod could illuminate 2 podiums at about 75 to 100 feet across a ballroom? I have a setup that needs stage lighting for two presenters, but the stand has to be stationed at the back of the room... I don't need to wash the stage, just the presenters themselves.

  • @digitalphantoms No, I do not think that will work very well.. You really need a Real Followspot light... Thanks, Mike

  • @1ABCMIKE thanks for the reply! do you think it would not work well because of the output or because of the beam angle? just curious.. What if I could get the 4 of them within 50 feet of the presenters? Cost is not an issue, I just don't want a huge followspot at the back of the room. Do you think 1 chauvet followspot 75 would do the trick then?

  • as it is called the lens can be replaced by a color?

  • Can you please Comment back with the link of the Tripod?

    THANKS!

  • @ProjectXTheMusical Hi, thanks for your question!

I have the tripod on my web site:

    b2dj.com

    Thanks, Mike

  • Entry

  • Mike , a question , which you think is better between SUN RAY by ADJ or HEMISFERE 5 by chauvet or ELECTRO ?

  • @hectorelbambino25 I have not received the new Hemisphere as of yet from Chauvet!

  • @hectorelbambino25, The Hemisphere is Better :)

  • Nice.... but why not just by a second hand profile and stick a 13amp socket on it......

  • i love the chauvet folowspot in the background i have used it and it can do a few colors and it has a 350w bulb so it can shoot about 100'

  • Nice video...quick question...how high does the tripod go? I am thinking of spoting the wedding cake from high above. Thanks.

  • @WindyCityMix I have a local DJ who did the same thing and it looked Great!

The standard tripod goes up to 9 feet. ($49.95)

My pro-tri goes up to 12 feet ($89.95

    Thanks again, Mike

  • those beams are awesome. entry

  • Very appealing to me, really is. If you use the narrow lense how far away will the light project?

  • nice follow spots entry 1

  • Great light, great price.

  • A couple of these would look awesome. Entry 1

  • Mike, I am interested in purchasing this light but I would like to use it as a white spotlight/followlight for dances but I would like to know if it is wide enough to surround a couple slow dancing together. What is the widest spotlight diameter you can create with this light? Also how far back do you have to be to get that diameter? Thanks in advance!

  • @KeithsDjServices Thanks for your question!

The light comes with 2 different lenses -VERY NARROW, MEDIUM & if you completely remove the lenses, you'll have a wide beam of light.

If the room is dark, you'll get a real good sharp beam of light around a couple - @ (about) 15 to 20 feet away.

I don't think you could get them from head to toe, but, I have had a lot of great comments about DJ's using the light just for the Couples first dance!

    Thanks, Mike

  • @1ABCMIKE Thanks Mike for answering my question. I think I will be putting this light on my shopping list. The 2/4 channel chaser looks pretty nice with 4 of these so I might be doing some shopping in the near future.

  • @SteelerDanDjs4you I think it is for 2 years....
