I can't stand how many people are so ignorant. If Gearbox put the amount of effort into actually making an artificial intelligence, the aren't going to make 50 repeats... This is a game where it doesn't matter what gun, it's going to be at least 2 small things different, not just the color. This game is more than guns, It's finding, looking at scenery, have you seen the amazing graphic stuff and how it looks when you look at far away mountain? There's more than desert, Theres Swamps, mountains..

I think that with that many different guns there would be alot of redundancy. For instance in real life we create guns by certain parameters, theres MANY compact pistols on the market, and theyre mostly the same. BTW they're also doing the same thing with the monsters, but theres probably less variables in the equation aso theres a less bragable number of monsters.

Your dumb dude. Research the game before you talk about it. There ARE close to 3-8 million guns. They created an artificially intelligent software to create all these guns for them. They gave the software different attributes that would be in say a shotgun or a sniper and the software created different brands of guns, types, colors, models, everything.

They arent really that different. Its like you got your traditional machiengun and then you get the same model with maybe some different colored textures shooting rockets or plasma. That kind of story...

The only pvp is like 1v1 duels i think, and you don't actually kil each other or win anything as far as i know.

Yes there is PVP. To initiate a fight you melee your teammate with your weapon, and if you melee them back the fight starts.
