@fritslyneborg Maybe not a magnetic robot but I remember a vacuum sumo robot that ran around on a ceiling more than 10 years ago. Regardless, these robots are doing anything--solving a maze, putting out a fire, navigating or anything else that was being done in the hobby at least 10 years ago in Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco and a few other places.

@fritslyneborg Even if you don't buy the argument that not going forward is going backwards, these robots don't DO anything. They move about randomly or through pre-programmed actions. They aren't reacting to their environment, adapting their behaviors or even searching for something.  Not impressive, IMHO.

@tzkelley Almost every of these robots have a ping or IR or LDR, therefore even these 'simple' robots reacting to their enviroment. Some also adapting their behavior, for example choosing the shortest way to solve maze etc. Check out LMR, the weakly clip is only a teaser.
