OMG that lipcolor was horrible, I have natural red hair and fair skin just like the model, and I would never wear a bright lipstick like that, redheads should always wear reddish brown lip colors,( think like berry or wine tones) when you have red hair you should never wear bright lip colors it just looks overboard with your hair. And also the quantity of lipstick,  don't pack on the lipstick you only need a lip brush to fill in your lips.

That lip lipstick was WAY to intense on those lips. Red makes lips look bigger and she already had big lips. She looked rediculous with that read. You could see her coming down the street 2 blocks away. That is way to much, she looked like a clown

I think the red lips are really striking on pale skin...look at Anne Hathaway at the Oscars this year, or Gwen Stefani for instance. This type of "blue-ish" red is not right at all for a darker skin tone. Those with warmer complexions should opt for a yellow-based red like brick. I do like that he made the point about exfoliating the lips -this is especially important anytime you do a dramatic color.
