He's right... Took me about five minutes but I think I remember how I started to focus my attention on the show. I was looking around youtube a couple of years ago and found the video CBS put up with Craig's monologue about how if you don't vote, you're an idiot. And then it just went on from there. Watching monologues then full shows, just as he made the transition to HD.
I found this show, ironically thanks to Conan and Leno...so I've been watching since January 2010. During that whole debacle I was one of those that started watching all of the late night shows to see what was going to be said....and that's when I found Craig. Absolutely unlike any other late night show I've seen on TV. I then scoured the dark corners of the internet for past episodes and watched what Mal has. Since then I watch religiously each night and have already attended 3 tapings.
I've been watching this show for less than a month, but I've seen almost every day at leas 5 hours of videos and I did just happened to found it one day and love it . Respect to Craig, I love him
it’s actually funny how most of the people here seemed to stumble upon craig’s show. the first time I was aware of the LLS, was probably when I started searching interviews with james mcavoy and I was immediately fascinated by his informal style and comedy. his chats with ewan mcgregor made me laugh to tears and the brilliant monologues were more a storytelling than the one liner jokes of other late night shows. i’ve been watching this show regularly for almost 1year now. cheers from portugal *
I remember actually watching the first episode this show with Craig. I had seen something about there was going to be a new host so I stayed up late that night. I don't remember much at all only that I laughed a lot. I'm a huge fan of his stand up as well. Thanks Mal :)
I would like to point out craig is WRONG. Charlie rose and Larry king have done a show without an audience but whats missing in either case is the comedy. Its hard to pull it off without an audience. No disrespect to rose or king of course they are both legends in what they do.
i came on Youtube a couple of months ago to watch the TBBT special on the late late show as i live in England and we dont have it here, i had no idea who Craig Ferguson was at the time but ever since i have been watching his interviews daily
and i'm so glad i did. i just hope one day they will eventually show TLLS over here
I found this show on YouTube 3 years ago, when I was 14. I have never heard of Ferguson before the LLS and let me tell you, this man is just beyond words. You can tell how much he does indeed care for the show and I'm not saying he's indifferent towards anyone in the industry, but his attitude of doing things his own way is great. I'm looking forward to watching Ferguson in the following years.
i found this show on YouTube and I fell in love with it....Mr Ferguson is witty and funny! I love his accent and his view on American pop culture! After he shared his past demons in a monologue, I have a true respect for him and often use that monologue as an inspiration!
I love this show, Craig brings out true interest when other talk show hosts just bring out fake interest because they want to end the show, get their paycheck and spend the rest of their tiem doing who knows what. The only other talk show host who can compare to Craig is James Lipton IMO.
Personally I think he should do shows like this at least the very least. Once a year.
I have How to Train Your Dragon to thank for exposing me to Craig Ferguson. Not only do I love and adore it for the great movie that it is, but it's introduced me to so many things, including Craig, of course. After seeing him doing various interviews for the movie, I got hooked on his personality, started watching the show, and have been watching it ever since. He's such a genuine, funny, wise character; I wish I was more like him.
I actually have to thank the MythBusters for finding Craig's show. The first time I've ever seen him was in the clip where they were singing together in the beginning of an episode. But if it wasn't for Malinky I wouldn't get so hooked ^^ so thank you Adam,Jamie and (especially) Malinky!
I found an old VHS tape that I recorded in the 80's. I am a big fan of stand-up comedy and the tape has about 2 hours of the stuff on there. It included a clip of CF doing his "wasps are bastards" bit. I thought i'd have a look for it on YT and found this amazing show. I've not quite caught up, but i've managed to watch 150 shows in the last month :)
I had seen this show a few times in the past but never made a move to make sure I watched it every night. My dad always was watching the TV at that time and basically I had no way to watch.
But then in late February, not to long before this episode, maybe a week or two before, I basically said, "Screw it, I want to watch this show. Be damned what stands in my way."
And I have not missed an episode ever since. And Craig Ferguson is probably the best thing/person I've ever found.
for some reason i thought he was joking at first...haha XD
i believe i found him on Youtube around 4 years ago...and honestly he is the only talk show host that i love watching...always cracks me up no matter what. I don't wanna bring the rest of those hosts down but most of them are not funny at all..specially Jay Leno and Latterman.
I found this show maybe a couple of months after I started high school, maybe the end of 8th grade. Anyway, my parents had gone to bed about 3/4 of the way though letterman. i decided to stay up thinking maybe there's some stupid inofomercials on (this was the first time i had stayed awake through letterman, actually. doesnt say much about dave's comedy does it?) i don't remember what eps it was, but something just clicked. plus Craig is really funny. i try to watch him as often as i can. love it
I can't even remember when I found this show. It was about 4 years ago and it's a complete mystery as to how a 15-year old french teenager managed to find something like this. There were only a few clips and no full show on YouTube at the time (so thanks a million for that, Mal, I'll never say it enough) but I remember getting really hooked when I stumbled upon Craig's eulogy of his father and found that he's not just another funny guy on the Internet. He's much more than an entertainer.
its funny, but i have to thank simon cowell!!! i was trying to find some of cowell's edgy interviews and found craig. and now i spend hours watching craig's show, both old and new ones.
I found craig because of my strange obsession with American talkshows in my little corner of England and to stumble upon this amazingly funny, scot when I had no idea who he was was a blessing. Craig is effortlessly funny and engaging and above all real and we thank him for that. Thanks for posting!xx
I'll have to thank Colin Firth for this. I was searching for vids of him here, and i found their interview... As you can imagine, i came for Colin, and stayed for Craig, forever!!! What a remarkable man, how I envy you from my little corner of Spain for having him, even if thanks to you Malinky, we can enjoy him everywhere.
I cannot possibly express how grateful I am for finding this show. He can be so hilarious and then when he stops joking around, he actually has something to say and you hang on his every word. Also, Malinky, you're the man.
i found craig through his ewan mcgregor interviews because i'm fan of him and thought he always did the best interviews with him so i sub to malinky and stayed tuned and after one week i was addicted xd
He's right, no one told us about this show. It was something we found, much like a treasure that one might discover when he/she isn't even looking. And I think the fact that we found him makes the show that much more special...
i found craig cause i stayed up and watched letterman, but instead of asuming that nothing was on next i kept watching. At first i thought it was gonna be another somewhat funny jackass trying to pull off the same old thing. But i watched and i've never laughed so hard at late night talk shows like i have this one. Within the first half hour of watching, however, i also realized that i recognized him. After elaborating with my parents i suddonly remembered the drew carry show.
@Unitronus I am sorry, was that sarcasm? I can never tell with this expression. My point was if in the US of A you don't have ads for him, we certainly don't here. I was in a hurry, hence the rushed sentence.
I started watching the show about a year ago, because I was bored and didn't want to go to bed, and I've kept watching because I am interested.

"this'll probably upset some people, and I...don't care." this is what makes Craig the best talk show host on television.

The only reason I found Ferguson is because I fell asleep watching Letterman. Thank god for that, funniest late night show ever.

No one told me either. I came here for The Big Bang Theory, I stayed for Craig. And I'm so happy I did. I just wish I had found it earlier.
Lovely monologue, by the way! :)
