Hello Mr Moogfreak. I like the sequence you had going there
I was wondering how you got the different pitches. I have a couple of synths with arpegiaters (roland juno 6 and Korg Mono/Poly)
I have had the arpegiaters triggered before but I have to have my hands on the notes and select them real time. You seemed to have notes pre-programmed in. How did you go about doing it? Would be great to find out as I am about to re-wire my studio and get beats from Logic triggering the synths. Many thanks
Hello. I have not used any arpegiators. As I have written in the info of this video, I have used a little software sequencer called Seq-303. This emulates an analog step-sequencer with the max. of 16 steps. For each step you have a slider for programming the pitch and more windows also with sliders for controlling other midi-parameters. For the video I have programmed one sequence (Prodigy) and from there I have opened another window for the second sequence (Minimoog). This both are synced.
Hi there. Thanks for the info. Just another quick question... does that mean that your machines are MIDI retrofitted. Sorry for the dumb questions but my synths are not MIDI based so I either have to play them in live or in the past, set a drum sound to a separate output which triggers the arpegiator
Hi again. Yes you are right. The Minimoog has a build-in Lintronics MIDI-Interface and the Prodigy has an external Doepfer MCV4-MIDI-Interface. Regards Heiko
I'll e-mail them to you. Just give me your credit card number, and don't worry about leaving it in a comment where everyone will see it, nothing bad will happen.

where did you get those wooden sides for your ms-20? I need a pair! Hate these tacky plastic sides.
Inform4u 3 years ago
The wooden sides are selfmade. :-) It´s no problem to make them.
