When i was little,whenever Leo Sayer come on the telly,you always used to say thats him who dressed as a clown. For years i wasn't sure what she meant,because i didn't remember seeing these performances by him,me being too young. But now its a pleasure to actually watch them on youtube,all these yesrs later.

Leo Sayer was a brave performer - and quite excellent. And braver still was 3 Dog Night, who took this weird little song and turned it into one of their many fantastic hits! I submit to you that not many bands could've made this song a success - but they pulled it off beautifully...

Thanks for posting the lyrics, but the line is actually "I won't let the show go on". Leo is quite particular about this, because although he wrote the song, Three Dog Night changed the words to "I Must let the show go on"....and they had the big American hit with it.
