Siberian Husky - Toya leave it trick

we got our first siberian husky a while ago and he is also very good at learning....although we got him as a 3 year old, he is learning everyday what we expect of him and is already doing such a good job....i place his food down and tell him to wait, he wont touch it until i say "grace" lol.....but how do i get him to be THAT patient with treats?

@djspinningblades it's a siberian husky obviously, cuz it has blue eyes. only malamute has brown eyes. look before judging and also malamutes faces are a bit wider. i have a husky so i know.
