I liked it when Eric wore the original Peter design from the very first albumn.I don't think he ever did it in any of the shows though. I guess it was too hard for him to do for every show. He looked as cool as Peter did to. I think they all should update the make-up and costumes and antics to instead of redoing what has already been done. They've lost touch if you ask me. They also had something very fukn real in the last sessions and threw it away to go back to originals.
The reason the cat man make up looks weird on Eric Singer in my opinion is because he does the top part of the black above the eyes too high it should only go slightly higher than the eye brow bone if he did it this way I think it would be an improvement I edited a pic of him in the make up to see & it does make a difference. I love his voice thanks for posting.

Eric Singer is a great drummer, and a great singer. But this insulting bullshit. Anywhere outside of Japan he'd have been pelted with eggs. KISS are better with Eric.....I've seen them plenty with him....but this is a massive sellout dogturd.
Peter has a raunchy new yorker italian voice, that gives him a harder edge, which is pretty cool.
I saw him at The Ritz back in the early 90s and his voice was better then, than it was when he was with KISS in the 70s and late 90s.

Eric Singer, just has a real smooth voice, to where Eric Carr had a smooth but at times rough voice, which fit in perfect with the songs he sang with KISS and on his on projects.
He sings it actually better than Peter!! You would have said it sucks even if Freddie Mercury did it. Mr Singer really have the skills of a real lead singer!
I think that was pretty good. Eric Singer doesn't get the credit he deserves. I hate how everyone is always bashing him and Tommy for wearing Peter and Ace's makeup, it's pathetic people, really. Actually, I think it had more to do with concert promoters insisting that the four original "Characters" perform. I would have liked to see Eric Singer as "the Hawk" though, the persona originally meant for Eric Carr, but he hated it.
As much as I love Peter Criss, he not record "Beth" as a solo act, he recorded it with KISS. There is nothing wrong with Eric Singer singing that song. I'm sure Peter Criss does not have exclusive rights to it anyway. What is the big deal? Why can't some of you people just enjoy the music without making a big deal out of everything??
Frehley should have kept his nose clean. Thayer is better, looks almost exactly the same in make up and is not a drunk motherfucker who insults fans and misses gigs.

I think that was pretty good. Eric Singer doesn't get the credit he deserves. I hate how everyone is always bashing him and Tommy for wearing Peter and Ace's makeup, it's pathetic people, really. Eric and Tommy play just as good as Peter and Ace! I like each Kiss member equally and support Tommy and Eric and I think you all should do the same.

@Inuyashafan5677 Ya i find alot of negetive comments on Tommy and a few on Eric Singer No body gets it. Peter left after The reunion tour and Ace left sone after, What else were Gene and Paul going to do? Stop KISS like they planned? It was nice of them to find two great guys who could help KISS continue to this day and hopefully longer. If u want to support Tommy and Eric join my groups. I have a Toomy group and now i'm going to make an Eric Singer group right now. come join both

@Inuyashafan5677 I don't agree with you, of course I support Tommy and Eric!, they're great musicians, but you should think that it is not fair that Eric and Tommy don't have their own make up, it's just my opinion but Gene and Paul use them as a manufactured "ace" and "peter" becuase it was the idea when they joined the band, like if no one could note the difference, like you say there should be equallity on ALL the KISS band members

I'm sorry, but Eric Carr sang a much better version of Beth than Eric Singer would ever sing...check it out, its on Smashes, Thrashes and Hits...Eric Carr should be remembered for who he was...the BEST Kiss drummer EVER !!! No one gives him the credit he deserved and deserves...damn shame in my opinion!!

I'm sure if you were asked to be the drummer for KISS, you would not turn it down! The band is run by Paul and Gene. I don't think Eric and Tommy have much say so over which persona they wear.

I agree with mykissesrocku...if you got a call and it was Gene Simmons saying "You can be in the band, but you have to wear the Cat Man make up..." You're not going to go "No way man! I have to much integrety to sully Peter Criss' make-up !"
Actually, I think it had more to do with concert promoters insisting that the four original "Characters" perform. I would have liked to see Eric Singer as "the Hawk" though, the persona originally meant for Eric Carr, but he hated it.

As much as I love Peter Criss, he not record "Beth" as a solo act, he recorded it with KISS. There is nothing wrong with Eric Singer singing that song. I'm sure Peter Criss does not have exclusive rights to it anyway. What is the big deal? Why can't some of you people just enjoy the music without making a big deal out of everything??

Frehley should have kept his nose clean. Thayer is better, looks almost exactly the same in make up and is not a drunk motherfucker who insults fans and misses gigs.
Also, fuck Peter Criss. Eric Singer is better than he ever was. Better showman, better singer, better drummer, better person... He sang 'Black Diamond' wonderfully in Quebec 2 days ago. My opinion is null though since I hated Criss... I preferred Carr.

I respect Peter for being an original member of the classic line up i LOVE so much. But Eric Singer really does kick his ass in the drum seat. I don't mind him taking Peter's seat or makeup. I DO hate Tommy Thayer in Ace's spot and makeup though. Gene-Paul-Ace-Eric Singer, that lineup rocked while it lasted
