The dashed line only means that when a foult is commited inside this line, the service must be taken just outside the line, so the deffenders can wait at the 3 mandatory meters on every service.
How can they say the back players are usually the top scorers? If your team is good on counterattacks and gets 2min penalty with them the wingers can score alot... I've scored most goals last season probebly like half of the games i played and i'm a winger
@froppe It's true, the back players are usually the top scorers, because they have the ball the most of the time. Plus, on the half court defense, you can stop a winger from receiving the ball, and then stop the winger from scoring a lot. And he said most of the times, not all the times, of course there are some exceptions like you said ;)

If you you play 6 vs 5 alot the wingers will score alot if you dont get mutch 6 vs 5 or counterattacks the wingers will not score as mutch and if you got very good right and left backs you will assign plays that will make them get good scoringchanses
@froppe If you listen closely, you'll hear the word 'usually'. Besides, by experience and also hard facts in the form of statistics, the (left) backs are traditionally the highest scoring team members of any team, closely followed by the pivot and then either a wing or the centre court.
People should give everything a chance before judging.
I agree with what some people say, it's great to see US try on sports that arent that "big" from their point of view (but are in many other parts of the world).
And I can tell you that it is infact ruffer then basketball (why would people even compare a none contact sport with one where u can push and shove).

I'm on u-16 team canada for hand ball......this video is horrible can be as rough as basketball?? Uhm were told to hit as hard as we can that doesn't sound like basketball to me and a handball is nowhere near the size of volleyball.....not very informative
America has won the most medals at the last four olympic games, if we wanted to be good at handball we would be. The real athletes play popular sports. Ive played organized sports since i was 6 and i just learned what this sport was

Let us also remember that the US is 300 million people, where as, lets say sweden is 9 million. Its limited how much a small country can win, they have to focus on very few sports.
