  • Mr. WALDTEUFEL:谢谢您为我们留下如此美好的音乐

  • Thank you WALDTEUFEL AND CHABRIER.great job. !!!VIVA ESPAÑA!!!!.

  • Oh, Victor20376, the Rhinegold beer advert is one of those things from my youth that I would gladly forget (but cannot). That is the way I learned this tune.

  • This is a highly refined masterpiece....It is superb

  • @gguerrasio I agree with you, but it may just a because Strauss wrote so many walzes. I've also read that while very famous during his lifetime, his type of music fell out of favor after his death during WWI.

  • MERCI POUR CE BEAU PARTAGE UN GENTIL SALUT DE MARSEILLE !!!! AMITIÉ RAYMOND

  • La escuche por primera vez en 91.5, en Long Beach y me gusto muchisimo, alejandro

  • My father taught me this on piano (a very simplified version) when I was around five. This song will always be dear to my heart and I'll never forget the evenings I spent playing this with him. I've only just now found htis song again.

    Thank you for uploading this!

  • Love this song! <3(I have a thing for Waltzes =P)

  • My beer is Rhinegold the dry beer,

Think of Rhinegold whenever you buy beer.

  • @presbyterosBassI If you want to taste beer... then drink real beer, please.

Falsely called "belgian beer" is mostly Flemisch beer (North of Belgium, where the people speak Dutch: Vlaams !)

Try : Palm, Duvel, Hoegaerden, Trappist Westmalle, and...the world-wide best beer Trappist van Westvleteren... it's the taste from angels who are peeing in your mouth.

  • w Vienna

    alehoho

  • w Vienna

  • molto classico e molto bello

  • Envoûtant!

    Merci!

  • A lovely friend of mine played this song on piano for my birthday, dedicating it to me because he said that the melody represented our beautiful relationship... he warmed my soul just hearing him play…

  • Curioso notare come autori francesi hanno saputo dipingere così bene la Spagna: Chabrier, Waldteufel, Bizet........

  • 44,563 views...on a 19th century waltz...very nice. Beautiful piece of music!~

  • My all time favourite waltz... LOVELY.

  • BELLE musique toujours un vrai plaisir merci a bientot

  • Rheingold Beer jingle.

  • ESTO ES UNA JOYA....FELICITACIONES...WALDTEUFEL78....SALUDO DESDE CALI COLOMBIA....

  • @ waldteufel Wenn die Rosen..." is also by an ancient composer. Emmanuel Chabrier.Great piece of music!!!!

  • Wurde von cindy-und-bert als "Spanische-Gitarren" ein hitin Deutschland(ca.1975) Was a hit in germany.Nearly everybody doesnt know the origin.

  • @xylfox "wenn die rosen erblühen in malaga" ?

  • @waldteufel78Correct!!!! Is by: Emmanuel Chabrier

  • I HEARD THIS GORGEOUS PIECE FIRST AT AGE 7 RIDING ON A BEAUTIFUL CAROUSEL IN ASBURY PARK NJ,I AM NOW 64 AND IT IS STILL MY VERY FAVORITE MUSICAL SELECTION!

  • Thanks for uploading this gem ! Of Waldteufel I only knew of the Skaters Waltz but this has been an absolutely splendid surprise and so also is the Espana.

Many thanks and keep up the good work .

  • Very sweet to hear indeed! When did he compose these works?Very capable composer. Thanks for uploading

  • @tgrsc hi. it was 1883

  • his his name emily and he's a boy?

  • @anglerfly change your y to an e

  • @rajulyra pronounced "A-Meal"

  • my favorite piano piece

  • one word: perfection

  • This is one of the very best.

  • wunderschönes lied <3

  • By the way, Estudiantina is not from Waldteufel, it is from Paul Lacôme, a french composer. Waldteufel just made an arrangement as a Waltz.

  • exactly. it's written in the description above :)

  • Estudiantina is the Spanish word for a group of mardi-gras mummers who, dressed as medieval students, go about playing traditional student songs, often in the jota rhythm.

At times this waltz almost sounds like a Jota. Very charming.

  • @AulicExclusiva My Grandmother used to sing tis song. Does anyone know any of the lyrics?

  • Que Pasa?

  • In the 1950's, this waltz was used for a television commercial for Rheingold beer.

It went "my beer is Rheingold the dry beer, think of Rheingold whenever you buy beer. Not bitter or sweet, but an extra dry treat, won't you try extra dry Rheingold beer"

  • Magnificent!!! I recall that in England the BBC had a programme {radio} called Your Hundred Best Tunes which hardly ever featured this magnificent work. You would`nt believe some of the junk that was played on a regular basis.

  • I first came across this wonderful waltz at the age of six when it was played on a programme called "Marching and Waltzing" in 1967/68. The "light programme" had just become Radio Two following the setting up of Radio One in1967. The Russell Brand/Jonathan Ross episode involving Andrew Sachs is merely symptomatic of the great height from which both stations have fallen. Radio One now no longer plays either the Beatles or Status Quo.

  • Estudiantina and España are my favorite waltzes of Emile Waldteufel,

  • This is a fantastic performance of ESTUDIANTINA! Do you know the name of the orchestra? I've loved this melodic gem for years. Thank you for sharing.

  • Robert Stalz directing the Berlin' symphonic orchestra, type Emile Waldtcufel on YouTube

  • Thank you for the information, MarcelleLep!

  • Can`t get enough of it! :)))

  • Oh, thank you! Finally it is here on YT I was looking long ago for it!! It`s so beautiful & uplifting!!!

  • Always one of my favourites; he wrote such tunefull and uncomplicated waltzes. (like Tres jolie).

  • Thanks for posting this. I have been looking over for this music.

  • A grand performance of a fabulous piece of music.

  • One of the most beautiful waltzes ever written!
