nice! i met carl before a game as an astro years ago a few hours before a game. I was around 12yrs old. I was walking in the hallway and he stopped me to ask a question and then we started talking maybe 5 minutes. I don't care how much grief he gets, he was a cool dude!! been a big fan ever since!!

i went to a riversharks game last year vs. the ducks and when the game finished me and my dad stayed around until the game finished and we took a picture with him and talked to him alittle bit but then today me and my dad were at dicks sporting goods and saw him again and talked to him for about a 1 min or 2 he looks even better physically then he did last year he is a really cool person but i really hope a team gives him a chance to get back into the bigs

Naturally, he's nice to you because you're not an idiot like the majority of the media that covers MLB. Independent League is a nice getaway compared to the garbage he'd have to deal with everynight from those guys. If he's happy where he is right now, I'm happy for him. I was a fan of Albert Belle so I appreciate him being happy in this league. In a perfect world, he'd still be at the major league level.
