  • So heartfelt and touching to the soul. And also a really beautiful song too.

  • The lead singer of Plainfolk (charlie ball) is a very close friend of my family (he gave a beautiful eulogy at my dad's funeral) and i'm so glad that his music has reached so many people.....and thank you to all the brave men and women that risk their lives every day for others' safety

  • @shrtyluv82 Thank you for the kind words sir/maam, since day one, I have kept the brotherhood so close, and it has carried many of us through many calls that we lost someone, we leaned on each other for comfort, you can thank Charlie from me for the most amazing song ever written on the meaning of being a Firefighter, this song is exactly how I feel and stand on, you are right when you say also the music has touched so many people, the count is unlimited.....God bless you.

  • They played this at my best friend and fellow firefighters funeral. RIP Fireman Gerald P. 'Jamie' Tinney ll.1991-2010 Unit # 1129 serving proudly for the Richwood Volunteer Fire Dept., until he lost his courageous battle with cancer on November 19th, 2010 wonderful tear jerking song. Thank you very much for putting this on here. Sincerely, Ian M. Gladwell- Firefighter #1143 RVFD
