its actually better to get as large of an area changed fromt he gio panels cause from thsi starting stage you can get alot of good items in bulk rigth fromt he start by getting a large gio combo rolling. aka killing the blue on the red then have the yellow get killed once everythings blue then the clear geo symbol clears out the geo panels and the beautiful part is if you clear all the geo panels in 1 go theny ou do about 80% dmg to every creature on the map

Disgaea is one of the best tactical RPGs I've played the humour is funny and the game is epic, and what you can do in the game is moreso than other games. Gonna love this lp.

you know toe if u line allies one behind the one attacking the enemy one next to the one attacking the enemy and one on the other side of the one attacking the enemy usally makes a super attack sometimes hope this helps

Oh and I should warn you, the Disgaea games actively encourage Munchkin-like tactics and min-maxing the shit out of your characters. Not sure what your opinion is on such things, but it's a generally accepted/encouraged tactic to pull stuff like that.

@snicksnack666 there is a two and 3. 1+2 are on PS2 and 3 is on the PS3. There is also an alternate version of number 1 for the PSP
