It could have been that monster's kid, but I'd have to research how they give birth. If they lay eggs, how long do they take to hatch? If not, then it's too young and was just a fish. They have some pretty weird looking fish in reality, so why not copy one of the weirdest or make one of your own on the game?

the skeleton is more likely an elasmosaurus, its way to big to be a standard plesiosaur, and the baby sea monster is to me unidentifiable, mainly because it's neck is REALLY small, its head is blunted (rounded) and it doesnt really show the properties of the skeleton.
