Hey! I love the look, so gorgeous. I just dyed my hair from natural red to jet black so it gave me a great idea on what to use! Hope it's not off the topic but I do have one request. Do u have any looks on anything Burlesque??? I'm going as a Risqué dancer for a hens nite soon and I'm desperate for idea on a really sexy, yet mysterious look. Another thing about this video: the fact that you did both inner and outer corner 'c' shapes with a dark color. Many don't venture into that and make it look good. :]

That's not what I meant. Having more 'open' eyes makes the makeup open up more, and look better....And by more open, I mean to say to have more space between the eyelid and brow bone...Now this is making me insane trying to explain this....For example, LetzMakeup has a more open type of structure, hence her makeup always looks great.

There are MAC counters in a bunch of Macy's in Minneapolis and St. Paul. There is a Mac counter in Nordstrom at the mall of america and a MAC store as well. I think the one in Nordstrom is the most helpful with questions.

buy a color wheel from Michaels... its called complimentary colors... you also have tents & shades... its all covered on the color wheel and pretty easy to use...

same with the other question... get a color wheel and place it next to your skin... or put different pigments on your hand.. you'll see your skin color change next to the applied color.. so if your skin has yellow tones and you don't want to look like you have jaundice.. avoid warm hews and use yellows compliment - purple or indigo

I really like this, and that's how I think tutorials should always be done anyway. Some really popular gurus, I feel, take lots of pride in naming colours when really, some shades aren't right for everyone. And it won't look the same on everyone... maybe they assume they have the same skin tones and eye colours? Makeup is an art... how can people be so unable to maneuvre around the colours that are given?

Exact looks are right for costumes or fitting into some kind of character, but really, if you want to look your best wouldn't you want to use colours and shades best for your own skin tone and how you look?

sweet: shouldn't have to see the color, I give a description. when you hear green thats the clue to find a green that will go with the grey, then also pick out something similar to burgundy to use with those two even if you saw what I was using or not.

in the 5th video I don't show any of the colors I'm using. then there is another surprise coming but I can't say what it is though.
