Good List, I thought D9 and Star Trek were effetive popcorn movies, but in my opinion they weren't the best blockbusters of 2009. I would have chosen Watchmen and something else. Loved 500 Days of Summer sad that it didn't make any top ten list. But critics raved about it. And i just double checked that statement about them all being nominated for Oscars. They actually were. LOL But maybe not all in lead oscars catagories.

To be honest, I thought Avatar was kinda dissapointing. It was alright, but it wsnt as good as everyone said it was.

My fave of last year was probably Star Trek, Up or Watchmen, mind you, we did have some dissapointing films last year, such as Transformers 2, G.I Joe and Terminator Salvation, but there were films that pulled us through that

Not a big fan of the Coen Brothers (though I love Fargo). District 9 was pretty good. 500 Days felt a little too slow (odd, since the movie isn't even 2 hours long). Not a big fan of Star Trek, but I did enjoy the movie, especially when nearing the end. Up is positioned perfectly...if ranking Pixar films. Inglourious Basterds has the funniest performance of the year in my opinion, with Brad Pitt. Avatar's gorgeous effects did not faze me at all. I Don't have the strength to see Precious.
