Very cute! I love my kid's Robo's! Buddy is a climber though, so when I put him in his playpen he tries to get out. Even though they are my son's...I spend more time with them. We've had them for 3 months now. They are slowly getting used to me. I put my hand in the cage and let them smell me. Have to wash hands before putting in there. I give them treats from my hand.

Taming a robo to sit calmly in your hand is no small feat. They're the most skittish type of hamster sold as pets.

I lucked out with my chinese. She was so calm. RIP little Scout.

My russian is pretty calm too and rarely nips (which is unusual for grumpy russian hamsters).

About to adopt 3 robos from a shelter that is dying to find them a good home. :D

Then I will have 2 rats, 1 mouse, 1 albino russian and 3 robos ^^

@THEMYSYAMIMI lol there little jumpers, just take her out and put her in a cardboard box then pick her up a little off the ground so when she jumps into the box it doesnt hurt her, she'll get used to it soon :3

@THEMYSYAMIMI As long as you don't have holes in your walls, go to your smallest room, and let them out, when the Door is shut, make sure they have some temporary food, water and a nest so they are happy :)! - I do this all the time and not once have they got hurt, jut keep them on the floor :D.

I bought a hamster from petco about 2 years ago.... she was the sweetest hamster I ever had =) She was already tame when I got her she was the best ten dollars I've ever spent =D she was a Syrian hamster she looked like a cream color but a little darker..... like a apricot or something sadly she passed away on 5-25-2010 =( but now I have a new hamster Herbie he's a Syrian hamster like lala was I adopted him from my local humane society he's okay but not as good as lala I miss lala =(

@Orangematz they're normally very timid and easily spooked. I have 2 and one is much more calm than the other but if you spook them they'll start running and jumping like mad. But biscuit, the one that's not as tame, actually fell asleep in my hand the other day. So it's possible if they're calm enough and you're in a very quiet, dark environment. :)
