  • Mimi ist fantastisch.

    Danke Mimi.

  • Mimi, du bist die Beste!

  • Beau duo

  • "Michel Legrand" pas "legrande" oO

  • Mireille es la voz de Francia... potente y delicada... preciosa

  • Feliciano's version is the best for me.

  • Stunning version.

Mireille Mathieu is often made fun of here in France but I think she has a magnificent and powerful voice.

I agree with some of the previous comments: she dominates this duet. Michel Legrand is a genius composer.

  • for me the only french version that's good is this by mireille mathieu. in english you have to find petula clark's version.

i think it's a "female song", better by a woman.

  • allez donc voir le nombre d'or fibonacci

  • Mireille Mathieu...Dawno Jej nie słuchałam, a bardzo lubię. Jej głos, interpretację, osobowość. Fajnie, że tu trafiłam. Dzięki.

She is my favourite singer. Thanks...

  • I agree with christenemitri: It sounds even better in French, and also with Mireille Mathieu...

  • Mireille Mathieu dominated this duet! (This is not meant in a disrespectful way to M. Legrande, who is a good singer; Mimi almost always dominated her duet partners.) I never cease to be fascinated by how such a small woman could project sound so powerfully, while retaining her wonderful note clarity and rhythmic control.

  • Agreed. Whe it comes to Mimi, Nobody does it better.

  • Michel is more like a genius composer then an awesome singer, he sing this song with Regijne Velasquez also, and she totally overshadows his voice. Mireille has an awesome voice, Michel is a genuine composer, but not that a great singer.

  • Mireille est magnifique! Pardon my awful French! Merci.

  • What a beautiful song. I first heard it in English in the movie The Thomas Crown Affair and I loved it then too. In French it's even more touching. Beautiful!
