I got a torch free off my girlfreind dad, im not sure wat model it is? i think it could be a fake but its still bright my eye feels like i have been looking at a welder. it says led lenser and takes 3 C batteries, it also had an orange cone on it. it measures 10 and a half inches long and about 1 1/2 inch lens. anyone know what model it is?
i own a police tech focus (UK) its the best torch of that size i have ever owned, and all my tools get abused and a lot of use. its craftmanship is excellent, and these people as a company deserve to do well if they keep producing products like this. top stuff
@ericssson Not necessarily true. Like the ford focus made in Mexico is of horrible quality and the one made in Germany is much nicer. The fit and finish, options and quality control is much higher on the German model.
i had my light for over a year untill 2 weeks ago someone stole it so that was a reason to buy a brand new one again. great quailty and worth every penny.

@Yankeechief Do you even own one? LED lenser lights are not dim by any means, and the new 2010 P series are even brighter. I always test battery run time on any new torch I buy, I put new batteries in and let them run to completion. I just tested my new p14 which takes 4 AA cells, I turned it on high at 11pm before I went to bed and when I woke up at 8am the light was VERY bright still, there was only a 20-25% drop in brightness at the most.
Next night I did the same test 11pm-8am with the same batteries on high mode, and when I checked it in the morning I could not believe the light was still at about 50-55% brightness! Try that with a SureFire! Many people swear by SF, and I myself own an E2D defender and an L5 which I think have exquisite craftsmanship and light output, but most a powered by $5-a-battery-CR123's which makes them more suitable for hobbyist in America, but impractical for regular use by most people or use abroad.
Ich besitze auch eine P7 und bin total begeistert! Mit ihrem stolzen Preis von ca. 50 Euro ist sie zwar nicht ganz so billig, aber macht sich schnell wieder bezahlt, da ich nicht andauernd neue billig Lampen kaufen muss.

Ich besitze selbst 3 Modelle der Marke LedLenser (V2, P7 und die X21) und muss sagen das sie im Bereich der Lichtausbeute und Homogenität das absolute non plus ultra darstellen. Die Batterielebensdauerangaben sind immer auf den untersten Stufen gemessen. Leichte Übertreibungen (Sicherlich aber auch von den verwendeten Batterien abhängig) hat fast jeder Hersteller. Die neue M-Serie (ab M7) bietet sogar die Wahl ob Betrieb mit oder ohne elektonischer Regelung !!!

@IceFreshProductions No Fenix 4Sevens, Surefire have brighter models. LED Lensers are highly overrated. Trust me I collect flashlights. I used to think that LED Lensers were the best till I got my hands on real quality torches.
Ich würde von der Marke LEDLenser abraten. Hinter jeder Menge Fantasiebegriffen und vermeintlichen "Revolutionen" steckt letztenendes nur eine Menge heißer Luft.
Die ach so tolle Technik von Morgen hinkt anderen Herstellern leider um viele Jahre hinterher. So werden zum Beispiel die Lampen anderer Hersteller über eine Konstantstromquelle betrieben, was die LED schont und dafür sorgt, dass man immer die volle Leistung bekommt, auch wenn die Batterien fast leer sind.
LED-Lenser werden teilweise sogar ohne Vorwiderstand (!) betrieben (so z.B. die P7 im Turbomodus), sodass der Stromfluss nur durch den Innenwiderstand der Batterie begrenzt wird. Aus dem Grund dürfen auch keine Akkus benutzt werden, weil sie einen zu geringen Innenwiderstand haben und die LED gegrillt werden würde.
Wer benutzt denn heute noch Batterien in so einem Stromfresser? Das ist nicht nur teuer, sondern auch eine Umweltsauerei!
Und die angegebenen Batterielaufzeiten sind auch völliger Blödsinn. Es stimmt zwar, dass die Lampen so lange "leuchten", allerdings kann man sie nur Während der ersten 1-3 Stunden wirklich benutzen, danach sind die Batterien so leer, dass die Taschenlampe für die restlichen 120 Stunden nur noch den Hauch eines Glimmens abgibt, das man nur sehen kann, wenn man bei völliger Dunkelheit direkt in die LED schaut.
LED-Lenser stehen nur gut da, wenn man sie mit "Steinzeitmodellen" wie Maglites vergleicht, die noch mit Glühlampen arbeiten. Verglichen mit guten LED-Taschenlampen ziehen LedLenser immer den kürzeren.
Ich würde jedem Empfehlen, sich bei anderen Herstellern wie Fenix, Olight, JetBeam, Nitecore, ITP lights, Surefire u.ä. umzuschauen. Hier bekommt man sehr viel bessere, durchdachtere Lampen auf dem heutigen Stand der Technik.

Hey guys just bought my T7 at lowes for $70. Its funny because I couldnt find it anywhere online for less than $90. Yes the one at lowes is the 2009 192 lumen model.
I should update my comment. Just got off the phone with Coast and they say the LED for the model 8420 has been upgraded to a 192 lumen light. The model 8420 is in fact the same LED as the T7 or P7 with just some minor case differences to fit the individual need.

You had purchase a right Led Lenser X21 product.
I had compare side by side with "Fenix TK70" & "Led Lenser X21 with Sanyo D enoloop".
Led Lenser is indeed have further throw & have more than 2200Lumen power than Fenix TK70 with
insist using Sanoy enoloop D side battery, Boost from 1050 Lumen to 2200++Lumen or more.
Proven already. 100% conform because i have them both to compare.
I dont know why Fenix 2200 Lumen is not as bright as Led Lenser x21? It's True. It really happen.

die vergleichen ja bilig mit dem besten hallo es gibt auch andere marken zB surefire,ultrafire,nightpower,maglithe die sind auch gut die vergleichen sie mit den aller biligsten ok ich geb es ja zu led lenser ist ne geile marke hab selber welche von ihnen

Led Lensers are crap, they are dim, unregulated and not even waterproof....
Fenix, Surefire, Jetbeam,Olight, 4sevens.....
These are way brighter, tougher, regulated and much higher quality.

@Yankeechief Do you even own one? LED lenser lights are not dim by any means, and the new 2010 P series are even brighter. I always test battery run time on any new torch I buy, I put new batteries in and let them run to completion. I just tested my new p14 which takes 4 AA cells, I turned it on high at 11pm before I went to bed and when I woke up at 8am the light was VERY bright still, there was only a 20-25% drop in brightness at the most.

Next night I did the same test 11pm-8am with the same batteries on high mode, and when I checked it in the morning I could not believe the light was still at about 50-55% brightness! Try that with a SureFire! Many people swear by SF, and I myself own an E2D defender and an L5 which I think have exquisite craftsmanship and light output, but most a powered by $5-a-battery-CR123's which makes them more suitable for hobbyist in America, but impractical for regular use by most people or use abroad.

Ich besitze auch eine P7 und bin total begeistert! Mit ihrem stolzen Preis von ca. 50 Euro ist sie zwar nicht ganz so billig, aber macht sich schnell wieder bezahlt, da ich nicht andauernd neue billig Lampen kaufen muss.
Ich muss zugeben das mich die M7 auch schon sehr interessiert. Mal sehen ob sie meine P7 ersetzen wird :)

Ich besitze selbst 3 Modelle der Marke LedLenser (V2, P7 und die X21) und muss sagen das sie im Bereich der Lichtausbeute und Homogenität das absolute non plus ultra darstellen. Die Batterielebensdauerangaben sind immer auf den untersten Stufen gemessen. Leichte Übertreibungen (Sicherlich aber auch von den verwendeten Batterien abhängig) hat fast jeder Hersteller. Die neue M-Serie (ab M7) bietet sogar die Wahl ob Betrieb mit oder ohne elektonischer Regelung !!!

@IceFreshProductions No Fenix 4Sevens, Surefire have brighter models. LED Lensers are highly overrated. Trust me I collect flashlights. I used to think that LED Lensers were the best till I got my hands on real quality torches.

Ich würde von der Marke LEDLenser abraten. Hinter jeder Menge Fantasiebegriffen und vermeintlichen "Revolutionen" steckt letztenendes nur eine Menge heißer Luft.
Die ach so tolle Technik von Morgen hinkt anderen Herstellern leider um viele Jahre hinterher. So werden zum Beispiel die Lampen anderer Hersteller über eine Konstantstromquelle betrieben, was die LED schont und dafür sorgt, dass man immer die volle Leistung bekommt, auch wenn die Batterien fast leer sind.

LED-Lenser werden teilweise sogar ohne Vorwiderstand (!) betrieben (so z.B. die P7 im Turbomodus), sodass der Stromfluss nur durch den Innenwiderstand der Batterie begrenzt wird. Aus dem Grund dürfen auch keine Akkus benutzt werden, weil sie einen zu geringen Innenwiderstand haben und die LED gegrillt werden würde.
Wer benutzt denn heute noch Batterien in so einem Stromfresser? Das ist nicht nur teuer, sondern auch eine Umweltsauerei!

Und die angegebenen Batterielaufzeiten sind auch völliger Blödsinn. Es stimmt zwar, dass die Lampen so lange "leuchten", allerdings kann man sie nur Während der ersten 1-3 Stunden wirklich benutzen, danach sind die Batterien so leer, dass die Taschenlampe für die restlichen 120 Stunden nur noch den Hauch eines Glimmens abgibt, das man nur sehen kann, wenn man bei völliger Dunkelheit direkt in die LED schaut.

LED-Lenser stehen nur gut da, wenn man sie mit "Steinzeitmodellen" wie Maglites vergleicht, die noch mit Glühlampen arbeiten. Verglichen mit guten LED-Taschenlampen ziehen LedLenser immer den kürzeren.
Ich würde jedem Empfehlen, sich bei anderen Herstellern wie Fenix, Olight, JetBeam, Nitecore, ITP lights, Surefire u.ä. umzuschauen. Hier bekommt man sehr viel bessere, durchdachtere Lampen auf dem heutigen Stand der Technik.

I Join A Friend To Home Depot And Seen A Led Led Lenser Flash Light,.......It had A "Try Me" Button,,, So Out Of Curiosity I Did,,,,, Darn, I Was Blind And Sold out By the Pain In My Eyes.....My Led Lenser V2 $28 Flash Light Was Worth Every Penny!!! Haha, Led Lenser P5 (1 AA) puts a SureFire E1B Backup (1 CR123) to shame!!! "Blown up muck" my ass!! Wolf-eyes P7 Sniper = Blown up muck compared to Led Lenser X7 / X21.

Hey guys just bought my T7 at lowes for $70. Its funny because I couldnt find it anywhere online for less than $90. Yes the one at lowes is the 2009 192 lumen model.

I should update my comment. Just got off the phone with Coast and they say the LED for the model 8420 has been upgraded to a 192 lumen light. The model 8420 is in fact the same LED as the T7 or P7 with just some minor case differences to fit the individual need.

led- lenser ist aufgeblasener Mist...-die Werbeabteilung macht ihre arbeit gut...die lampen allerdings nicht !!! JEDE andere LED ist stärker und deswegen auch preiswerter. Das Patentgelaber ist herrlicher Blödsinn und das Geschwurbel vom 'Lichtdom' ist ein echter Brüller...Ich habe meine Hokus-Fokus verschenkt und benutze NUR meine Wolf-eyes P7 Sniper
