  • This is way better that the the Pollyanna movie from 1960, there the story was completely changed.

  • This one is nice but I think I like the 60's version better.

  • excellent thanks for posting

  • Please, dear UltimatejoolsFan, don´t take this beatifull film down from You Tube!

It is not easy to get it in some countries, because of importing restriccions!

Even books in English or other languages are forbidden to import.

This is the only way to hear a good spoking English and not to loose and forget the language!

Thanks so much for sharing this delicious film!

  • @Agapanthusazul

  • Thanks so much for sharing this story. Pollyana is such an inspiration! :)

  • This version is just as good as Hayley Mills' version. I like the ending of this better. The Disney version left you wanting to know if Pollyanna was going to walk again that was dissatisfying. This ending is very, very satisfying. Thank you :)

  • What a great ending!

  • What a lovely film. I do like Adam Gillet and Amanda Burton. Not to mention Georgina Terry. Thank you for posting. I'm very Glad you did. :)

  • I'm waiting until now the kiss between Polly and Chilton.

  • I still like this Disney Pollyanna the best, but this is good too.

  • One of the greatest movies ever made, and I've seen thousands. It's sad today's movies need special effects and big budgets, or be cynical to win an Oscar. No matter, this movie is better than any Oscar winner in the past many years.

  • @lazarochavez1

    you are absolutely right!!!

  • What a lovely version of this story! Thanks so much for sharing it. I've never seen it before.

  • super, super movie, my friend had read a book of it!!!

  • This version of Pollyanna deeply moved me....beautiful setting and classic music with a most amiable little girl to portray Pollyanna. Striking similarities to the Anne of Green Gables series.

  • Thank you for uploading. This is a nice version of Pollyanna. I reviewed the credits and no music credits were listed that I could see. Does anyone know the pipe organ piece played at the start of 06:53 to 07:33? It's a grand majestic sounding piece and appropriate for a bride's entry. If you know the piece, please respond. Thank you.

  • @shakenednostir

Hi. I've just noticed your request for the wedding music at the end of Pollyanna. It's usually just called the Trumpet Tune in D, from an opera that practically no one has ever seen called The Island Princess by Jeremiah Clarke (1674-1707).
