@ciptango01 Did you realize Adam did 110+ concerts from June-November in 2010? It was called the Glam Nation Tour, and it was problably the most spectacular thing I have ever heard or seen on a stage. Adam sang 12-13 songs flat out per show. Went to 4 myself (We got 14 in Louisville). Adam's 12 years of vocal training (to include operatic training during his teens), has certainly paid off. He knows how to keep that voice in shape.

@ciptango01 Adam's voice goes way high (and he can go pretty low as well). He is a trained tenor. He can also sing countertenor (i.e. singing My Conviction). He's been singing from the age of 10. YouTube him. One of my favorites is Feeling Good Studio Version. Just when you think he can't go any higher, his voice soars even higher--effortlessly.

Adam is only 30. I can't wait to see what he does over the next 20+ years. BOTH are wonderful. Why does it have to be one or the other, can't we enjoy both? I also enjoy Brian and Roger when Adam sings with them. It's like he gives them energy and excitement. Maybe they will even write something new

Career-wise, Adam IS the winner. If he had actually WON the competition, he would be locked into a contract of some kind with American Idol, and Simon Cowell. ;) As the runner up, he likely has much more personal control over his own career. @chubby371 Didn't you hear the story about the votes the morning after this show? It seems that there was some sort of technical glitch with the reporting. While the votes came in for Chris at the usual 10x multiplier, they only came in 1 for Adam. American Idol decided it wasn't worth all the hassle and embarrassment to set the record straight, so they left it with Adam as the runner up.

But we all know what has happened since, don't we? Adam has proved he's number ONE!

Adam was channeling Freddie during this performance. I can see why he later toured with Queen.

Adam shares some similarities with Freddie. He has the powerful tenor voice. He is a showman, not just a performer. Has a large stage presence. Enjoys being creatively flamboyant in dress and makeup. Both refuse to be confined to social norms but follow their own inner voice. And the obvious, both lead openly gay lifestyles.

Adam is by no means Freddie but he honors him well.

I know Freddie was a private person and didn't go about discussing his personal life, but he didn't go to lengths to hide it.
