"Hohohoho, Mister Finn, you're going to be Mister Finnagain! Comeday morm and, O, you're vine! Sendday's eve and, ah, you're vinegar! Hahahaha, Mister Funn, you're going to be fined again!"
@geoguy91 ? no fights; I hate black eyes and stichs in my lips plus the ladys hate it but on the ice it does make you look pretty mean haha. I was just saying the irish are knowin to be heavy drinkers but man you should see the natives here their pretty wild they would give the irish a run for their money. o up north they pay $150+ for a bottle of 750ml vodka and where I am the same thing is only $20 but their really isolated. just thought you might find that interesting.
im irish and italian but even though i respect my italian relatives i feel a stronger connection to my irish side it seems like the irish in general are so fun and carefree and ireland: iv never been there but i want to i can imagine what it would be like, how my grandparents used to talk about the rolling green hills and cows and all that *sigh* and theyr music, u can feel it in your heart...nd if no1 else feels like that call me a freak XD
Cheers from Sweden. You paddies have some of the finest folk music! I have a wish to visit Ireland as soon as possible and get to sing along with ye fellas in some nice pub. ;D
The best, this version is the version that the Clancy Brothers should be recognized for doing. This song needs fast pace, the other verions are good but this kicks it outta the park.
@BukkakeSniper Did some research since I wondered about that myself, and the sources I dug up list "D'anam don diabhal" as the correct spelling while "Thanum o'n Dhoul" seem to be more of a phonetic approximation. So, dear sir, I think you have some egg on your face.
you should hear my uncles version its realy good im trying to figure out a way to get it on youtube i changed the format from WMV to MP.3 but it didnt work
i have to say i enjoy the recording of this song from the Clancy Brother's cassette tape better... that other guy....i just flat out dont like him lol...ok not that i dont like him i just grew up listening to JUST the Clancy's singing the song...hearing him in it makes it sound strange
@ Vixencba- Yes! We have gone to Irish pubs and tried to get them to sing this, either they don't know it, or the sing it at a slow FUNERAL like pace.......... This is the very best version........
@ballsofrock I thought that too.......... I usually steer clear of the Dubliners, they just sound like a barber shop quartet............ I think you are right........
@Vixencba i love this version the one that makes me laugh is the version by Seamus Kennedy he tells jokes in his songs haha i like that version too :)
