  • completely useless, ruins the lifespan of your computer and doesn't even work, installed it on my z68 pro3-m and tried it, turned my computer off, after it fully shut down it started up automatically, took the normal time to load, then shut down again, after about 10 seconds it started up on its own instantly and then stopped, you have no control on when it turns itself back on. Also whoever thought keeping your ram active while the motherboard is in sleep mode is an idiot.

  • Funny company name on TFT GIxgABxTE Mxi :D

  • doesnt work...=/

  • I'm not sure how useful this is because of having to restart before actually powering the computer off (to save the booted state).... might as well just use sleep mode since it consumes very little power anyway.

I have an ASRock p67 Extreme 4 (B3) and its been great so far, I like the UEFI BIOS much more than MSI's, and the board has debug codes (an LED counter on the board) so if you have a problem you can isolate the issue easily. It also has 3 PCIe slots. Just a better board overall.

  • Video Response, youtube.com/watch?v=QDyjgLrh9Cc

  • Nice World of Warcraft icon 1:54 :)

  • Mine takes like 3 secounds with a hdd

  • i have a p55 deluxe and the boot times are WOOOOW!

  • why never seen ASUS mainboard test??

  • GIxABxTE G brand. mxi M brand. LMAO!

  • wow... that's really useless....

  • @balcazar911 noh , you use it everytime you boot up -|-' xp

  • Asrock is the best mother card!

  • What they don't show you on this video is that you actually need to restart the PC before the Instant Boot turns off the PC completely. This is because it needs to save the "booted up" state of the PC before it turns on the next time. Then once the PC is off it just saves that state until you press power.

That it's totally useless because it takes like 2 mins for the PC to restart and turn off. Where if you just use sleep or hibernate it will take just 20 on turning off and booting up.

  • asians are funny. lol. 5 stars.

  • This is misleading... I will not buy this motherboard now. The REBOOT time is important, not startup. No wonder you don't show restart mode, because u take the startup time and add it to the shutdown time. To really impress, compare restart times between motherboards.

  • 4 seconds ???

    are you serious ?

whats the specs of that PC ???

  • Lol G brand and M brand.

    (Gigabyte + MSi LOL!!!)

  • very good asrock, but when will you lend this technology to other mobo manufacturers? or am I losing the point here...

  • jimday666, you're definitely losing the point. get the rocks out of your head. And why should ASRock share this technology? It is their technology. Innovation Is the Mother Of Invention... As an old saying goes.

  • ok ok, it was just a joke. i wouldn't share this kind of info neither :D

  • Yeah it's very funny video co'z its refering to some very expensive mobo out there. Try the new one of asrock and you'll be amaze!!! What i really like is the instant boot and energy saving features and also of course the overclocking is very easy.

  • Asrock! The best now and maybe in the coming years! Loser stop arguing! Just follow what you've seen in this video. Why can't you do that too? I better buy this board than a very expensive mobo but cannot handle some memory shit!!! I have the Asrock mobo still allive and speed still rocking!!! Almost 9 years already still up and running i only bought it for only 600 + hk dollars not solids caps but believe me or not it's still alive!!!

  • ASRock = ASUS (ASUS is their parent company).

I had an Asrock K741GX, running since 2003 and being used daily for everything from MS Office to WoW. It just died this week.

ASRock is a good choice if you are in a budget.

  • i was thinking of buying an ASrock, but now that i've seen how fucking lame and stupid these guys are that work there, I don't think I want one anymore...

  • LOL funny with sign on the back.

  • Not all asrock boards are using polymer. Try looking at this motherboard a socket am2 model N68PV-GS,. Are there poly caps present? THis video here is very funny. A comedy show....

  • very funny !!! what about its quality? compare to ASUS? asrock motherboards their capacitor bulges out after a year.hahaha!

  • AsRock: Asus, you fuck tard. They use basically the same motherboards. Asus is their parent (holding) company.

And the capacitors on AsRock motherboards are made in Japan and most of their motherboards have solid state capacitors.

How about you STFU and do some research before you go talking shit?

  • asrock is a low quality motherboard like ecs. I'm gonna show you a video with their capacitors bulging you freak minded. your very wrong you moron. their capacitors are made from Taiwan. Why don't you do the reasearching maybe you're just a beginner in computer hardwares. Now they are using solid capacitors but before they used made in Taiwan. Now smart guy try comparing its quality to asus. Asrock is just a spin off company of Asus.

  • jormox69: comparing asrock to ecs shows how dumb you are.

ECS is PCChips.. the lowest bidder regarding quality..

ECS boars have been, and will always be complete utter bullsh*t...

the hell.. they were known for ripoff boards even in times when the 486 was common..

search for "fake cache 486 boards" ..

one of the first results should be from a url named redhill.

oh and BTW... only electrolytic capacitors can bulge. solid polymer caps can't..

asrock only uses electrolytic caps on.. [next post]

  • ...on low end to mid-range boards to cut the costs and keep the end-user prices low

its simple: you get what you pay for!

gigabyte only uses all solid caps on boards with a "D" (for ultra durable) in the model names.

    and guess what they are..?

    *bingbingbing* the higher priced models..

same thing for asus, msi, foxconn.. you name it..

only the more expensive boards get all solid polymer caps..

your generalised "argument" against asrock boards (low quality) is just plain stupid..

  • i have 2 asrock boards running for over 2 years no...no bulging capacitors..

also, your claim that they use "taiwanese" components doesn't hold up to anything. almost all big mainboard manufacturers come from taiwan. guess where they get their parts from??

  • hahahha ridicules allthough very funny

  • haha

G brand, M brand. Come guys its obvious, are yiu afraid of lawsuits and all that?

If your product is better and you can prove it, just say it's better than Gigabyte and Msi ;)

  • great vid, as ever.

I have all asus in my (2004) pc, because it is sony vaio.

I would like to have asrock however, because itseems great quality and perfect value!

  • Excelent Motherboard, Awesome Technology, how much is it? I want one of this!!!

  • i wish you guy from asrock made a store here in puerto rico, i got a few of them but not does ones, i dont know why can find it here. who i get more high performance asrock mother boards on puerto rico ?

  • Oh man, you gotta love these videos. xD

Anyway who wants to boot into Vista?

  • lol how is that posible? no bois boot, no loading vista screen. cheater!!
