okay for one, just because the babies head pops up and is wobbly doesn't mean that it's scared half to death. My daughter does that if there's a noise when she's almost asleep. they look more scared because they're helpless and because they can't control their movement as good. The baby is FINE! and if it cried shortly after that, i'm sure it was consoled and forgot all about it.
