Brings back so many memories. A bunch of us long hairs drove down to the show in my friend's hearse. Standing about 100 yards from the stage sparking one after another. I remember when they played "Knife Edge" Greg Lake's bass shook the whole building. Awesome...
I saw them twice with the orchestra, first Chicago, then Des Moines, right up front. It was awesome. This is one of the few videos that captures how powerful they were.
@jimmvv Too right! My ears rang forever after the show ended. And considering how poorly made the Big Owe was, it would have been no surprise at all if it did actually collapse from all the vibrations.
Saw the show in 1977 in San Diego but they scapped the orchestra due to $. Still an amazing show!

this was the LOUDEST show I have ever seen.. we thought the whole building was gonna cave in... jeezus.
