Ever since watching this movie, I have searched Youtube for another one that is better or just like it, and after watching countless movies, Marie Antoinette, The Young Victoria, The other Boleyn Girl, I have finally come to the conclusion that no romance/historical movies on here can even compare to this brilliant film. I have a friend at my school who's an exchange student from Germany, who looks almost exactly like Mr Darcy :D His face and his noes especially. Only two differences: my friend is tanner skinned than Mr Darcy and his eyes are brown while Mr Darcy's are blue. Lol! :D

Well I've been told that Stephenie Mayers created the character of Edward according to Mr Darcy that was one of her favorite heroes..therefore you can understand that there is not comparison between these movies, even Stephenie new how incredibly wonderful the whole book ''Pride and Prejudice'' and its characters were- that's why she created a similar one to Mr Darcy...

matthew mcfadyen is so good in the role that it makes you stop and look at him real close. He is all Darcy in this. Brought out the character really well. Love his proud dignified exterior and yet the shy, socially stunted but very loving and generous inner self :)

yes. the music score is so much harder to learn too. I learned Bella's Lullaby in one day. It's a simple yet tough-ish song to learn but nothing compared to the difficulty of the music from Pride & Prejudice.
