If you are running VISTA you can go to Internet Options, Programs, Manage Add Ons. Go to the left hand list and choose Search Providers and you will get the list with "Ask" in it. Choose to either disable or remove completely. That's it.
Your full of s--t ! If U don't know what ur talkin' bout don't post. Ask is smarter then u and won't uninstall with add or remove programs or any other way u stated. U want to get rid of this SPYWARE then reinstall windows on a clean drive.
How do you do when there is no uninstall option ? -asktoolbar , my IE 8 still has this and this cant be uninstalled since its not in uninstall program
Nice. Nonetheless, if you cannot find the uninstaller, then you can disable the toolbar in IE. Alternatively, you can start looking for manual removal techniques; however, these can cause as many problems as they solve.
I'm sorry, but this doesn't help at all. I have tried this, but I always get an error message saying that Windows Installer Service could not be accessed.
Thanks! It worked! :D

@ladose1000 Yes, you should be able to delete it. Are you getting some sort of error message when you try to uninstall it?

@StuntDevil007 Reinstall Ask Toolbar from Ask.com and then try the uninstall again. That should remove it.
