When I first saw this performance I went "Whhaaaaatt??!!" and then "Dayuuuuummm!!!" But then I saw her version of the same song in Carousel of Hope and I just sat there and shivered with delight. My body covered in goosebumps, speechless with wonder.
Scary how much she's improved in such a short time that she's made this outstanding performance seem mediocre.
Lord, a few years from now, she'll give me a heart attack just by singing!
This is her first BIG international performance and she sang alongside the likes of Josh Groban, Michael Buble, Andrea Bocelli - etc , she's 16 yrs. old, does not have an album to her name, and she got two standing Ovations - oh my! She is fearless, and she is 16 yrs. old. She acted like she belonged in that crowd, yet she displayed no airs, just the knowledge that she can sing and wanted to sing to whoever will listen ha - ha. How sweet is that.!

Charice soared in 2008 by (as Oprah said) bringing her full game at each critical opportunity which impressed important people leading to the next opportunity. If she had messed-up even once it may have ended, but Charice nailed each one, just like this video shows. Bravo!!!!!
