Well, I dont know about how much pay all Walmart workers get, but my neighbors have both worked at a Walmart for over 10 years..they support 3 kids, the wife drives a new Minivan (they own 3 other cars as well), the husband just bought a full dress Harley, and they live very good compared to some others I know.

Nightshift gets overtime all the time. You refuse, go home at your regular time, you get in trouble. One of the women I work with left because no one was home with her daughter. Her daughter was SOBBING ON THE PHONE to her mommy, and management didn't want to let her leave so she could go take care of her 8 year old. She had to all but threaten to quit to be able to leave, and then she got threatened with disciplinary action on the subject.
